チェックインはホテルのスタッフが1組ずつ時間をかけて対応してくれます。施設の説明、食事の説明とチョイスなど。その分、チェックインが重なると待ち時間が長めですが、ウェルカムドリンクも出していただけるので。 食事もとても美味しく、この値段で宿泊、お風呂、2食付き？？と驚くほどです。夕食時のチョイスにライス、パンだけではなく中華蒸しパンもあるのが驚きでした。 温泉はぴのんにもありますが、姉妹旅館の松本楼の温泉も利用できます。歩いて2-3分の距離で、とても大きくよかったです。 松本楼のスタッフの方もとても丁寧で、多量にお土産を購入した様子を見て、（徒歩でもわずか2-3分の距離のぴのんまで）車で送りましょうか？とお声がけいただきました｡ お土産はぴのんにも少し売ってますが、松本楼のお土産売り場のほうが品揃えもよく、よかったです。 ##### I cannot speak Japanese, and can only read the Japanese text (not including Kanji!) so I was very relieved that during check-in the staff could speak English and happily answered my questions and got me squared away. I really enjoyed dinner (I took the French menu \[フレンチ\]), the public bath, and the breakfast in the morning. Because the Ryokan is fairly small, the bath was not so busy, and I enjoyed by myself and with 1 or 2 people. Ryokan Pinon also has a sister hotel, where you can use the bath or take breakfast, but I didn't take advantage of this. My room was warm and cozy,!
