I stayed at one of their private rooms for 3 days and it was comfortable enough. The hostal is operated by a Spanish family and they were very friendly and helpful in everything. Location is great. It’s walkable to everything. Only 5 min walk to Sol metro station which is only a few stops from the airport. Super convenient! The Lido hostel has a very appropriate location if you want to know and explore the center of Madrid, in addition to that is a nice and cozy place, Ms. Fina who is in charge of the facility is super friendly, cooperative and willing to give the best recommendations for a pleasant stay. The place is very clean, although small, it is all you need after a day of intense walk, the beds are very comfortable. There may be little outside noise during the night but it is unavoidable in the center of Madrid. Great places for breakfast, lunch and dinner just a few steps from there. You feel like visiting relatives not like renting. This is my second time in Lido.
