"This home is a true gem. Steve and Kathy were amazing hosts and always attentive to anything we needed. They even went as far as to offer to help get us there if we were not comfortable driving the 4x4 beach without a guide. We will definitely be returning!"

"We loved our stay. I wanted to stay another week! I have never slept on an adjustable mattress so that was a nice surprise. We used the very well stocked kitchen a lot because we didn't want to make the drive to town/restaurants more than once a day. The kayaks were fun and we had a hilarious time failing at a family paddleboat ride. I wish I had footage of us paddling in circles! I'm glad there were several life vests for that adventure. The beach was neverending and beautiful. Don't believe your GPS if it has you turning in several times before the cottage. It lies and takes you on some extremely steep, roller coaster-like hills! Stay straight and you'll be just fine. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us."

"It was the perfect little house! We had a seafood boil under the carport, listening to the wind chimes and frogs singing. Everything was unique and beautifully decorated as well as all the supplies and amenities you may need. Beds were comfy and the hosts had it a crispy 69 degrees when we arrived which was perfect! I felt like I was visiting a best friend's house. Highly recommend!!! 10/10!!"

"Octopus Oasis was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group. The two kitchens were a huge plus and made everything so convenient. Kym, the property manager, was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and great to work with. Everything was well-maintained, and we had a fantastic stay. Highly recommend!"

"We loved our stay at Grey's Digger! We could walk to the beach but preferred to drive so we could carry all necessary items for the day! There were an abundance of things to do around the area. Every day we saw the horses walking along the ocean. We will definitely be back"

"I have always wanted to go to the Outer Banks and see the wild horses. We take a couples getaway each year, and prefer to stay somewhere quiet and secluded. We love fishing and being active outdoors. This place was perfect for us. No need to go on the horse tours, we saw horses every time we left the house. The fishing was fantastic, the beach was amazing! The home was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. The host was easily available and went above and beyond to make us comfortable while still respecting our privacy. There was even a cool rooster who lives there (nice touch)! I would say this place is a bit magical and we hope to return again in the future."
