"House and location were better than I had imagined!! Fully stocked kitchen. Helpful email prior to arriving with tips on staying at the 4x4 location. Super detailed and very helpful since we had not stayed in the 4x4 location before. Quiet, private and peaceful location. Stunning ocean views. Sunrise and sunset views!! Pool is perfect. Multiple decks and ample outdoor furniture to enjoy the views. Horses!! Would definitely book this house again!!! Worth every minute of the 10 1/2 hours to get there. Did not want to leave!!"

"Perfect for two. Excellent location for first OBX and off road beach trip. House had everything needed cooking wise except for cutting board. Clean place. Host very helpful, responsive, and respectful. Was surprised at the storage space in garage- perfect for beach chairs/jeep doors etc. stove worked great, just confusing on how to start bake vs boil mode. "The location of this home is absolutely wonderful and so close to the beach! We truly enjoyed our stay here with just a few minor things we would change. The couches in the house are pretty uncomfortable. After a long day at the beach it is nice to unwind and relax but we really couldn’t on the couches. The bed was pretty comfy though and there is a small TV in the main bedroom so we utilized that instead. The furniture on the porch was decent, better than the living room but the bugs are very present (not the hosts fault) so bring some bug spray! Parking at the house was easy and the supplied beach passes were great! Beach chairs were provided and appreciated! However, make sure you do a full grocery shop before arriving and read the amenities! We unfortunately missed a few of the “not provided” ones, again not the hosts fault! Add bath towels, paper towels, toilet paper, dish washer pods (if you don’t want to hand wash), a sponge and laundry pods to your shopping list. We cooked every day for our meals, stove worked perfectly and pots/pans were provided! We even saw the wild horses and some cute deer near the property as well! Host was super responsive and accommodated for our pup coming with us and actually helped us find the amenities we needed."

"I'm pretty good at finding unique VRBO experiences, but this one takes the cake! Great location, all the amenities you need for days on the beach, and very kind hosts!! Driving around the area and seeing the wild horses was probably the coolest part! Would love to stay again in the future!!"
