Porto da Cruz is a safe, walkable village with several nice restaurants to choose from. Local distillery nearby with free tours. Local bus stop right outside the front door. I would highly recommend the non-express bus to Funchal as a great way to view the countryside, though it can be a bit scary for those unfamiliar with the narrow, steep roads!...

Auf den Bildern macht es den Anschein das man die Unterkunft alleine hat, was aber nicht der Fall ist, denn es sind nämlich insgesammt 4 Apartments die sich den Whirpool, die Grillstelle und die Sauna teilen.
