"Even though they are mid construction in the front of the building there was excellent signage to guide you and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi area are stunning and resort level. Great location near cute downtown and restaurants very walkable! I’d stay here again no question"

"Like Shangri La. A piece of the 60's vibe still intact. Love that they kept some history and limited the character killing updates. This was an old Holiday Inn and has retained some cool features. It was actually in the last scene of the movie Poltergeist which was on TV during my October stay. The room was dreamy and large. The bed was new and heavenly. I could go on and on. Best of the affordable hotels out there."

"Very spacious comfortable room. I would definitely upgrade to lake view next time. Impressive lobby area with lake view restaurant/bar. I wish I had the time on this visit to use the Spa. Overall, a very nice place to spend a few days. It's also within walking distance to the Village."

"I only gave this a 4 star. I have been there before when it was a 5. It is under new management and found it very strange that a resort (who charges a resort fee) was totally out of washcloths. They were kind and offered extra hand towels, but come on, Amazon is a day away for those folks who asked for one (like me)) would have been happy to just have one. So, a 4, but a fabulous place to say the least!!"
