This hotel although fairly basic is well located, just a 15 minute walk from Part-Dieu station, and near to the Garibaldi Metro. We stayed here for 3 nights to attend the France v England rugby match at the OL stadium. The beds were comfortable, the towels changed regularly and the staff we encountered were friendly. The only criticism I have is that the rooms were hot, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to be able to cool, whichever setting it was on blew out warm air. As we were facing the main road keeping the window open was not an option as the traffic noise would have been too loud. We didn’t opt to have breakfast at the hotel as there were other options locally, although the hotel breakfast did seem to be good value

The location of the property is close to Old Lyon and very easy to walk around and there is 24/7 supermarket right front of the hotel. However, the common area such as hall, elevator and toilet in main section do make you feel bit depressing. But if you there to just sleep in your room it should be ok.

The staff was very unprofessional. Rooms smells mold. The mattress were very thin so when I woke up in the morning it felt like someone bit me up. The elevators smelled urine.this hotel have 8 floors they don’t even provide one iron for floor.

I recommend this hotel for comfort, hygiene, and the staff services are exceptional (hotel & restaurant), in a real and decent way. thank you! We also thank at the reception staff for his seriousness and promptness, he is attentive to all the details so that everything is perfect, but if you have a wish do not hesitate, everything is as in the pictures posted on the site. the street is full of shops and is lively until late in the evening, where you can find everything you want. The services offered were clearly higher than the booking price. Thanks again!

B&B for mediocrity
We ordered 2 rooms. We quickly checked in a late hour to find out that one of the room haven't been clean after pervious guest. We had to change to another room. In the morning, we headed out early and the hotel did not agree to keep our lagage for the day although it was stated in hotels.com it provides lagage keeping service

Adequate room for an okay price.
The room was okay. Nothing fancy, but clean and well cared for. The location was okay, but not great. Near a metro stop, but that’s about it really. Overall, the room was good if you don’t plan on spending much time it except for sleeping.

This hotel hardly deserve one star! We had to cut our stay just to get out of chaos and inhospitable conditions: black-painted walls, linoleum flooring, just ONE towel per person (we had to ask for some extra towels at the reception desk!), NO amenities in the bathroom - NONE! - and dirt all over. When we came back to our room tired after a whole day of exploring Lyon we discovered that our room was not cleaned (see attached pictures – that’s what we saw coming back in the evening). But we know for sure that maids were around when we left late that morning as their cleaning equipment was scattered all over the hall! The reception was understaffed and very rude. A simple request to make a restaurant reservation was met with rolling eyes and a sarcastic attitude. The breakfast was another story! Actually there was NO breakfast – when we came down to eat there was NOTHING to eat – and it was an hour before the buffet was set to close! About 9 AM. ZERO sound insolation, inconvenient parking and dirt and clutter near the hotel building – you get the whole picture of our “wonderful” stay! There was a bit of good news .. Fortunately, Expedia was very helpful regarding our last minute cancellation of our final night and was able to rebook for another hotel.

Hotel will do what it is suppose to but don’t expect any extras. Our room didn’t have a closet or a safe to name a few things. But hotel, staff and room aren’t sketchy and seem safe.

Excellent hotel. The staff was really flexible, and I could check in a bit earlier free of charge and parking was also possible. The locarion is great, right by a metro station. The price-value ratio is very good, feels like a three star hotel.

Great hotel for a trip to Lyon
Spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast worth paying extra for. So handy for Garibaldi metro station (D line). Casino supermarket just across the road. Will certainly stay here again on my next visit.

Ok hotel in Lyon
Not too bad hotel in Lyon and ok location. It does need improvements. Soap in the bathrooms, safe box in rooms, better breakfast.
