"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception.
There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there.

"We had a lovely stay. Cottage was perfect for two. Very cosy with everything we needed and very quiet. Very thoughtful touches left ready for us including a basket of logs for the fire and a hamper of goodies for our dog. Perfect location for exploring the area. We walked miles! Recommend a visit to Tar steps, Valley of the rocks and Baggy point. Also stunning beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton. Would recommend this cottage to everyone."

"As per previous reviews, it could do with a refurb but for the cost, we feel it was good value for money. Great location, lovely views from our room and close to local shops and restaurants. One suggestion I would make is concerning the lack of available power sockets in the room. These could be changed out to combined usb and socket to allow the charging of phones and using the kettle/ hairdryer etc. quick fix. Parking was a bit confusing, it states that hotel has a limited car park but it isn’t managed by the hotel. Perhaps a map of parking options be included on the info sheet given at check in would be useful. When you have been travelling for 5 hours, you just want to get settled asap Overall we had a lovely stay in ilfracombe."

"The hotel was very nice, the staff were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, some features like doors and bathroom were on the budget side, all in all, an enjoyable stay."

The deluxe studio was small and well equipped but not really “deluxe”. If you moderate your expectations this place provides everything you need for a stay in the area."

"Northfield was delightful! I wish every hotel was filled with such kind workers and friendly staff. The food was very good. This hotel even hired a musician to entertain its guests. This staff goes above and beyond to make sure their visitors have an enjoyable stay. The room was very large with a beautiful ocean view. The hotel was clean and tidy. I give this hotel 5 stars!"
