"The room was in terrible shape. Scuffs on walls spackle patch on ceiling bathroom wallpaper peeling off the wall. Holes in the lamp shades. Hairs in the bed. I would stay clear of this location. We had 3 couples stay the night and all the rooms had similar situations as well. I hate leaving bad reviews so please take this as a fair warning."

"Parking at this hotel was excellent surface parking lot. The room was nice and clean and the bed for me was excellent for comfort. I have a very bad back and at home generally sleep in an inclined recliner. This is by a wide margin the best bed I have slept in in years so much so that upon returning home I immediately went mattress shopping. The breakfast was only $5.00 for a nice, basic selection of scrambled eggs, perfectly cooked bacon, pastries, home fries, rotating special side dishes, coffee and tea. The chef was friendly and was out in front. He and his staff alone make the morning breakfast worth the trip. The day time and even desk staff was friendly and helpful although on my checkout day the woman at the front desk was looked like she’d rather be anywhere else than where she was. I found her about as hospitable as a slug. Overall, a good stay and I will almost certainly stay here again during my monthly trip from Connecticut to Timonium to visit my daughter, her husband and my infant grandson."

"The hotel is fine - tucked away on a side street - but that is also the issue. There is limited parking just to check in, and the parking for the hotel is a block or so away in a parking garage. So there is a lot of chaos for the check-in, as people are searching for places to park. There location of the parking wasn't something that was obvious - no signs or mention on the website. And if it is cold, rainy, or downright miserable weather, you are going to feel it going back and forth to the hotel. Fortunately we have suitcases with rollers."

"Liked staff,very clean room. . Did not like that only 1 person working at bar area on a very busy day and she worked very hard at trying to keep up with all the customers but it was impossible to do. Had to move to another room, the air conditioner was not cooling and the tv was not working in our room."

"This hotel is in an excellent location. However, when we stayed there 3 years ago it was already in need of refreshing, renovating and general updates. It is woefully in need now. Such a great location and friendly helpful staff. If updated this would rate 5 stars. Please consider doing so."
