"We had a wonderful time! The cabin is amazing, so clean! The host has thought of everything you would need to have a comfortable stay, they truly care about making your experience memorable. The host is very friendly and attentive. Loved the quiet atmosphere and relaxing on the back porch. A perfect vacation, definitely felt like home!"

"This motel is an excellent place stay if you plan to be in Mio. It is located close to restaurants and a grocery store. It is an older building and does have some small maintenance needs..,like drapes with missing hooks. The king room was clean, and included all the necessary amenities. We used the tub, shower, mini-fridge, microwave, ROKU TV, and heat during our 3 day stay. The king bed was spacious and comfortable, with good quality bedding. The room also included a large comfortable recliner chair, dresser space, and a counter with a bar sink. The pool/spa area was very nice, with a changing and bathroom available. Pool towels were provided. The motel ad mentioned that it included breakfast. Although the offerings were limited, they included coffee, OJ, packaged oatmeal, bagels (butter, cream cheese, PB, jelly), individual yogurts, and wrapped sweets. Brewed coffee was available throughout the day. Overall, it was a good choice for our stay in Mio, and we will stay there in the future."

"We fell in love with this little A-frame on the lake the moment we pulled into the driveway. It’s the perfect secluded little spot for a getaway, just you and nature without a care in the world. The house was warm and inviting, the rooms are perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need to cook a meal and stay in for the night. Thank you for letting us stay, and we will be back!!"

"Amazing little cabin! It's barely out of town but sitting around the fire by the stream feels almost like the middle of nowhere. Really the perfect mix of up north feel while close enough you can grab a pizza or dinner in no time."

"We spent 4 nights on the island with our dog. A great time was had by all. The cabin was comfortable, the outdoor space was perfectly setup for hanging out for meals or sitting by the fire-pit next to the lake. Enjoyed trying out the paddle boards, canoe, and kayaks. Too cold to swim but the little beach area was nice to wade into. The trails made for a nice easy walk with our older dog who enjoyed being off-leash to sniff everything to her heart’s content. Caught bass and pike while fishing. It was a great spot to relax in and will probably return in the future when it is warmer to enjoy more water activities."

"This getaway exceeded our expectations. The cabin supplied all needs including well stocked kitchen with dishes, cutlery, cookware etc. Nick left thorough instructions regarding checking in and places to visit while we were there for the week. Private, quiet, beautiful time of year made the view and birdwatching amazing. We recommend this cabin and may even stay again in the future."
