This 2nd floor, 2 bedroom, contemporary apartment sleeps 4 people and is the perfect choice for anyone looking to explore the Lago di Lugano at any time of year.

The apartment has elegant parquet floors throughout and many stylish features. The airy living area is furnished with a chic corner sofa, two armchairs and a large flatscreen HD TV. Wide glass doors lead out onto a covered balcony with a table and four chairs. At the other end of the living area, there is another balcony which has been glazed over and converted into a bright dining room for 6 people, with stunning views over the lake and Mount San Salvatore.

The ultra-modern kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, an American style fridge-freezer, toaster and a Nespresso machine. Next to the kitchen is a utility room complete with a washing machine and dryer.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The bright master bedroom has a large double bed, ample wardrobe space and a seating area where guests can relax in private. There is also an en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: A sunny room with a corner window and spectacular views over the lake. This bedroom has a comfortable sofa bed which sleeps 2, a wardrobe and a dressing table that double as a work station if needed. It has an en suite bathroom and access to the glazed balcony via a separate door.

Location
The apartment is situated 8km from Piazza della Riforma, the heart of Lugano (20 minutes drive). The ideal place for an aperitivo or espresso whilst you watch the world go by.

In the Italian-speaking Ticino canton of Switzerland, the city of Lugano is well known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural setting. On the shores of the Lago di Lugano, the waterfront promenade is not to be missed. Or take a day trip out on the lake, to really appreciate the magnificent scenery.

The city is home to many museums and galleries. One of the most popular is MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (17 minutes drive) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions.

Guests can also take the funicular railway up to the summit of Mount San Salvatore (11 minutes drive) for the best views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

The Parco San Grato (4 minutes drive) offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in nature, with beautiful, themed hikes and stunning views over the lake. There is plenty for children to do, including handcrafted swings, a playground and special star gazing evenings.

The closest international airports are in Italy, Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 13 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 27 minute journey.
