"The property is suitable for large groups. The place was clean and spacious. Two things that were not to my liking was first the bathroom situation. Although the house had three full bathrooms, one on each floor, it was not to my liking to walk across the hall to go to a bathroom. I much prefer attached bathroom to my bedroom. The other thing, and I mentioned this to the host is that we were not able to use the lower level of the house. Apparently there was a musty smell that prevented us from going to the basement level. Even though it was a very comfortable setting, we couldn’t use it because of the smell. They had a humidifier going in the space to reduce the smell. I don’t know why it did not work well for our visit. But the owner told me that they never have had that problem before or nobody has mentioned that before. So it could be our bad luck that we came across that problem. But since there were just five of us, my wife and our three kids, we were able to make do with the top two floors. We really had a good time and enjoyed Ludlow, VT for the time we were there."
