Auserdem wenn ein Fußballspiel ist bekommt man als Bewohner kein Parkplatz. We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was very near to bus stop which takes you directly to the train station in 20 mts. They have got a brilliant self checkin service. So there is no issue with collecting keys even you checkin in the middle of the night. Very close to a grocery shop which made it very easy. From Bahnhof, you can either take the train (S4 or S5) to Allmend/Messe (1 stop only) or Bus 20 with 6 stops. Then from there, it's just about 5 minutes walk. It's very convenient. The instructions on how to get the key is a bit confusing at first because we were very tired already. lol. We reached at midnight so no one is around at the customer service. The room is spacious and clean and so is the bathroom. I just didn't like the shower area where you have to make sure that the curtains are all in the basin, otherwise the bathroom will be flooded. The windows in the room are not tinted though so you have that the curtains are closed when you're changing clothes or you'll be giving a free show outside. lol There is laundry area which is very convenient if you're backpacking. You can purchase the debit card for 6CHF which includes 3 wash and 2 dry. The drier is big that's I think they gave more times for washing. The customer service, Karina, is very friendly and helpful. The room was tiny and uncomfortable, they use a point system to identify rooms which just doesn't work. The window blind system adjusted to weather conditions which meant that we had to sleep with them open and just thin blinds keeping us from the noisy environment outside. We ended up checking out a day earlier and booked elsewhere. Es liegt am Rande von Luzern, sehr gut mit Auto und auch öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Der Tiefgaragenstellplatz wird mit 15 Franken pro Tag berechnet. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit Mikrowelle, Backofen, Toaster, Espresso-Maschine und Dampfgarer, allerdings wäre mehr Geschirr wünschenswert. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer mit insgesamt 5 Schlafplätzen und zwei gute breite Schlafsofas im Wohnzimmer, dazu ein Bad mit Dusche und WC und ein Bad mit Duschwanne und WC. Waschmaschine und Trockner (neuwertiger Zustand und sauber) befinden sich in einem kleinen separaten Raum im Appartement. Das Appartement befindet sich im 28\. Stock, man hat einen herrlichen Blick auf Luzern. Trotz hoher Außentemperaturen wird es Dank elektrischer Jalousien und der Lage im 28\. Wir waren von Gründonnerstag bis Ostersonntag in einem 1-Zimmer-Appartement. Anreise und Service bei der Begrüßung waren gut. Das Zimmer war wie erwartet von der Ausstattung und vom Comfort her. Leider war die Sauberkeit nur mangelhaft. An den Griffen der Küche klebten noch Reste von den Vormietern und die Toilette war nur sehr oberflächlich geputzt. Der Überzug des klappsofas war verdreckt und die restlichen Möbel verstäubt. Auch die Türen wiesen Flecken auf. Als wir per Mail darauf aufmerksam machten, wurde schnell reagiert, allerdings nicht, indem noch nachgeputzt wurde. die Anzahlung zurückerstattet, was für uns für den kurzen Aufenthalt und Ordnung war. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung und wir werden wohl wieder dort buchen, hoffen jedoch, dass beim nächsten Mal die Sauberkeit passt. ##### Fam ### 8/10 – Bien #### Balvir, New Jersey 21 avr. 2014 Points forts : Propreté, service et personnel, état et installations de l’hébergement et confort de la chambre. #### Enjoyed our stay at Allmend Apt in Lucerne We had a wonderful experience at Allmend apartments. We were two families (7 people - 4 adults 3 children) traveling to Switzerland and Allmend was very ideal as we got a 2 BR apartment. The reason for us to select Lucerne was to stay in a location which is centrally located with good train connection to all parts of Switzerland. This apartment in Lucerne is ideally located with good connection of bus and taxi to Bahnoff. The apartment itself has all the amenities required for a small group. Good security and excellent location. It is a very modernistic apartment. Our apartment was on the 28th floor and we had a beautiful view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In Switzerland most of the shops / restaurants close around 5 - 6 PM which makes it difficult, especially for dinner. There is a MIGROS located in the same complex and on the first day itself we got all the stuff to cook in the apartment. It was cheaper than hotels we were looking at so that is a plus, but not cheap enough to justify a room that is basically a hotel room. I expexted more from an appartment. Location is OK. It a short bus ride into the city and we found a lovely restaurant a short drive away up the mountain, near Schwendellberg. However I should highlight that you are staying in a sports complex. There is a beig leisure centre next door and a sports arena. Parking is plentiful with a choice of covered or not covered which was key for us with a roofbox on the car limiting options. ##### HeathL
