It was amazing I had a great time, everything was excellent. Staff was incredible, my room was gorgeous, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend to anyone and I will definitely return.

Check-In Process was too long

Pros: Entertainment and staff was very nice and helpful.
Cons: Check-in time and room service.
Location: not sure
Good hotel however the cheek in process was too long waited over 4 hours to check in. Also room was not what i selected on line. There seemed to be a dampness in the room. Was not happy with James the manager who promised to change the room to the double bed i requested. On a positive note Marcia and Venessa was very very helpful. over all it was a good trip.

Pros: everything was great about this hotel
Cons: location given is not in montego bay but instead is in hanover, not everybody is coming straight from the montego bay airport
Its my first time in Hanover and really enjoy this hotel choose it for daughter because of the slides but need to make it available for parents especially those with younger kids that can not slide by themselves. The staff was great and hoping to visit again in the future.

Lady Hamilton Side -- Worth Upgrading!

Pros: The variety of restaurants, pools, and activities from which to choose. Also liked having carts to take us around if we didn't want to walk. I
Cons: Not enough carts -- had to wait an hour for bag pick up. Should put in elevators. Didn't bother us; only 3 levels. It would with disabled, though.
Location: The location is pretty central to nearby activities. It was only a 30 min. ride from Sangster Airport. Lucea, where it's located, is a small town.
After reading negative reviews about the Jamaican side, we decided to upgrade to the Lady Hamilton side. The upgrade cost wasn't bad. They won't let you upgrade until you check-in due to availability. So, if you are just now booking, I'd suggest that you go ahead and book a Jr. Suite at Lady Hamilton. The resort is huge with several pools including an infinity pool, adult, and kids. There are several good beach areas. We preferred the beach on the far western side. It has a Jerk Chicken Hut, an ala carte restaurant, Poseidon's Sunset Cove Beach Restaurant and Bar, situated slightly above the beach, water rental, Bamboo Bar right on the beach, & a variety of reggae & other music genres. The food is really good since there are so many choices without having to make a reservation. These include Chez Bubba's Grill House (steak), Xaymaica (creole), Lotus House (Asian), Bhogali (Indian), El Agave (Mexican), Arte & Cuccina (Italian), Poseidon (mentioned above), and three buffets. You just show up and wait to be seated. The only restaurant that required reservations was the Hibachi at the Lotus Restaurant. However, you don't have to make a reservation for the ala carte section of it. There is also a Sports Bar that has food you can order, as well as snack type food already prepared. The suite was beautiful with a lot of room in the main area and bath. We have been to many resorts in the past, and I would say that Lady Hamilton meets the same or better standards than most.

Fun hotel for the family

We stayed at the Lady Hamilton side with 2 families ( kids aged 7 to 9) and my parents and had a great time. The resort is busy but there are lots of areas to escape the crowds. The restaurants were easy to book into and the food was great for the most part. The main pool is huge and can take the crowds ( and dance parties). But the real gem is the adults only pool and spa area ( also had a fabulous massage there and my daughter got her hair braided). Free water activities at the beach plus giant chess, ladder toss and table tennis made for a great way to spend the day ( jerk chicken and pork served there a must of course). The kids got to be part of a nightly performance and marched in Jamaica's Independence Day parade around the hotel which were both highlights. And my daughter was spoilt with the hugest cake ever on her birthday. Overall a great get away with lots of options for all.

Pros: The casino, though small, was fun with friends. We all were able to win a little cash (USD) after spending at least $30 in there.
Cons: Villas need more modern renovation, need better wifi, room service terribly slow & hard to reach
Location: Rick's Café, other excursion activities (zip lining, kayaking, shopping) -- it's just a long ride to other parishes.
I was underwhelmed by my room (I stayed in Villa 18), rust around the bathroom mirrors, brown spots on the ceiling, and many other similar blemishes throughout. The electricity goes out frequently, usually not for longer than 5-10min. The wifi is terrible and doesn't work everywhere on the resort. Room service is almost always backed up and sometimes you cant even call them (you'll get a full voicemail) -- and when you do reach them, be prepared to wait at least an hour+ for your order. Shuttle service could be a little faster/more frequent. Good things, the landscaping is beautiful (Jamaica in general is just breath taking), the pool area is awesome, there's bars everywhere -- even in the pool, there's a daycare for kids (the kids put on a show on the main stage with the daycare staff, very cute). There's a little "nightclub" on the resort that can be fun with friends. The food (the Jamaican style food) is pretty good, the drinks are great -- but they run out of certain foods a lot. The spa is really nice also. Basically the Lady Hamilton (a little more expensive) side is better than the Jamaica side of the Grand Pallidium, so stay over there if you go to this resort.....I just felt like there's much better resorts elsewhere on the island, saw some on the way to Negril. I had fun because I went with a fun group and we made it fun, but I was underwhelmed by Grand Palladium..

Our maintenance team tries at all times to resolve issues of this nature in the shortest possible time We know we cannot bring back the past, but we would definitely like an opportunity to improve future visit(s). We sincerely hope you will return in the near future, to witness all the improvements made, in all areas of the resort.

very bad service at front desk. Food was not good at all and availble at the times I needed to eat, Just at the sports bar and they had bad attitudes
