Fantastic stay
The Chapel suite was amazing, large bath and bed and super comfortable, although the bathroom facilities you’d have be to very comfortable in each others company, but still excellent. The biggest disappointment was the dinner in the restaurant, the food was tasteless and an odd mix of ingredients but sadly the dishes didn’t do the place justice. The staff and service though was excellent. The pool is very relaxing however even in October we were bitten to bits by the mosquitoes so bring repellent.

Easy parking - lot on site The grounds are lovely The restaurant is very good, lots of options for breakfast also Room is well decorated, good size as was the bathroom. Very clean.

Villa Le Marta is a beautiful property located about a 15 min drive outside of Lucca and a 20 min drive outside of Pisa. It’s peaceful and serene to lie by the pool and to have a meal outdoors. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable, but small and a bit dated compared to some other places we stayed.

What a wonderful experience. All of the staff were personal and professional. The room and all facilities were wonderful. We felt at home and it was an intimate atmosphere. The pool and grounds were very nice. Breakfasts were excellent and eating dinner in the restaurant was very special - food, atmosphere and staff. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks

The property was well kept and attractive. The room was pleasant and clean. Restaurant was good and pool area and grounds were lovely. Quiet but within close driving distance to everything.

Beautiful Tuscan inn between Lucca and Pisa. Lovely grounds , fantastic restaurant and small bar. Has a pool you can relax by as well. Pasquale who runs the restaurant was excellent and very knowledgeable about local food and area. Service outstanding

Prefect country villa with excellent attentive and friendly staff. Peaceful rural Tuscan surrounds. Outstanding food and wine. Gorgeous boutique real Tuscan destination. Quiet. And plenty of carparking. Didnt want to leave and must finish by reiterating the high quality dining and genuinely caring staff who spoke great english and were fun. A must for a revisit. Great pool too.

The villa looks amazing as you enter the grounds. The staff we met were excellent and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was a gorgeous venue, the staff were great and the food was very good. We were very disappointed with our room which felt damp and looked more shabby than chic! It was in need of a make over to ensure we experienced a bit of luxury during our stay there. We definitely didn’t feel that at all. The pool area was poor, the grass around the pool area was a haven for mosquitos who very much let us know they were present!!!!

Elegant property and lovely peaceful location. welcoming and warm staff. Hotel restaurant excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Wouldnt have stayed when children were younger as more geared for relaxing adults. Look forward to returning as a real haven in Tuscany.

Idyllic Tuscan hotel
This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The staff could not have been friendly and make you feel welcome and relaxed from the moment you arrive. Only downside is if you don’t have a car, you can cycle into Lucca but not the safest ride and you should definitely not leave it until it goes dark until you cycle home! The taxis from the railway station are expensive €25 for a 6 minute taxi ride!! The breakfast was good and idyllic setting. And we had an evening meal in the restaurant that was delicious. We will definitely stay again.

The staff are truly exceptional. Always on hand and one step ahead. This Villa is amazing but made even better by the friendly and hard working staff who work there. The food was incredible, especially the evening menu. Beautiful pool, which was a lovely temperature! Also, had red wine split over my white dress and the laundry service made it look better than new. Would love to go back one day. Thank you.

I cannot say enough about this place. It was a paradise. The room, the grounds, the staff and the pool were excellent. An extra surprise was how good the on-property restaurant was! In fact, we ended up having all three dinners there during our three night stay, as well as one lunch. Breakfast was included, so of course we had that there as well and they put out a nice spread for you in the morning. You can sit inside the sun-porch style building or outside on the patio. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know!

Great hidden find
What an amazing place to stay! While Alberto Villa Marta is located 10-15 minutes from the walled city, it is in a quiet and beautiful rural location. The rooms and grounds are beautiful, The breakfast selection is great, and dinner in the restaurant was sumptuous. The service from the staff is also wonderful. We had a great stay.

Amazing church lodging
This hotel was so cool! We were able to stay in the chapel shrine, which was recently renovated. We had a personal hot tub in our own grove of olive trees and our own lounger chairs. In addition, the inside of the church was absolutely gorgeous. They installed a gold cold clawfoot bathtub and some beautiful fixtures to complement the space. I’ve already ready recommended this place to several friends! The breakfast and meals at the hotel were also superb.

Good but not as good as it used to be.
An excellent location for visiting Lucca and Tuscany. Staff are wonderful and cannot be faulted. The hotel is looking a little tired and the gardens need attention. It is not as good as in recent visits. More attention to the up keep and maintenance will see it back to a first rate hotel.

Lovely hotel in Tuscany countryside.
Hotel enjoys a beautiful calm setting. Friendly staff, good food and pleasant surroundings. The staff ratio however was thin on the ground in the Sunday which is when the restaurant is closed this could be improved.
