My husband and I stayed for 10 nights. Absolutely enjoyed! Met a lot of nice people, from Trinidad and Tobago. We were there over Easter weekend, and school holidays. Oceanfront, all rooms! Location is the best, turtle beach. Saw a turtle dropping her eggs on the beach ! This is a 3*, but the staff definitely add a star. Shout out to Asst manager Jerome ( great guy), bar service Raul , Gabriel, Tennille! The gals at the grill, Nicole, Lakiesa, and Michem. Frederica’s cooking our eggs every morning! We will be back!

It is sad to see where Mt Irvine is at. A once vibrant hotel it’s now like a ghost town. No one there. No vibrancy. Water available for a few hours per day, no appealing meals. The entire hotel needs a lift in appearance but it is clear that its potential is still there. Hard to recommend the hotel in its current form. I was disappointed.

"The property and room were really clean. Water pressure was high, AC worked perfectly. Exactly as advertised. You can hear the ocean while in the pool. Mark checked us in and gave excellent service, facilitating a late checkout. Will definitely stay again."
