« Absolutely faultless. Beautiful little cottage with tremendous decor. Immaculately clean, parking right outside the property & located within 2 minutes walking of The Railway Inn, The Crusoe Restaurant & most importantly the beach. I would definitely return to this property again. »

« Such a beautiful place to stay, will absolutely come again. Very quiet, peaceful, lovely views. Plan ahead transportation - there is a cash only pre-book taxi company (£15 per ride or so) or drive in rental car. Great nearby restaurants I town. Quiet during the off season. »

« My friend and I loved staying in the Carters Cottage. It's very beautiful inside, modern kitchen & bathrooms, so cozy. We also loved the little village with several fun walks. I would highly recommend this place if you want a quiet and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful area of Scotland. The owner, Jacquline, is super nice and lives nearby. »

« The Shore is a very cosy and comfortable one bedroom cottage/flat. It is very well-equipped, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. It was very easy to communicate with the host and nothing was too much trouble. The area is very beautiful with plenty to do, including beach walks, exploring the villages of the East Neuk of Fie, and enjoying the lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants . « The Positives: All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was very well organised.. The chair and pouf were well appreciated.. The bed comfortable.. The negatives: The revolving front door is a complete joke.. It is too small and too slow causing anyone with cases to get jammed inside.. This is wholly unacceptable.. The roads outside were extremely noisy with one other guest describing it to me like 'the Fast and Furious'.. The noise penetrates the rooms and can spoil...

« Hotel okay but nothing special... Lack of towels in our room was annoying.. It was late and I didn't want to down in the lift to ask for more.. Basic room looks like a Youth Hostel with no soft touches or fittings... Colour scheme isn't exactly soothing... The empty first floor is a worrying feature for lone women entering in the evening.. Anyone can enter.. Very unpleasant.. Reception is on the 2nd floor so help is not available.. Women bear this in mind if planning to stay.. »
