« We really enjoyed this quirky cottage. despite its age it was clean, cosy, and spacious. Appreciated the historical notes. Very interesting. Talking to neighbour Lance was also fascinating as he carefully renovates next door in keeping with the Grade II listing.
Ideal for special celebrations. Kitchen well-equipped. The fire already laid up. However, surprised that other basics seemed to be overlooked*.All nearby NT locations well worth a visit. We were lucky with the weather. Thank you!

« Despite the complex instructions to find the cottage, it was fairly easy. (A quick look beforehand on Google Street View helped!) Found it best to park the car first in the Freshwater car park as you exit the harbour up the hill. This is a long stay car park costing approx. (August 2024) £10 for 24hrs. It's worth buying a permit for the week as it is valid in other car parks in the whole of Torbay too for when you trip out. It's an easy flat walk from here (and you may get a glimpse of seals...

« Room was exceptional y clean.
Very very hot fan was supplied but did absolutely nothing (it was the hottest few days)
Only one window could open and that was a maximum of 3 inches
We will book again but study the facilities much closer . Slightly misleading when you read the descriptions where it says "hotel apartments"

« The location and size of this apartment was perfect for us. It was decorated nicely, neat and tidy.
For working remotely for a week it was good but if I was staying for longer, I would have preferred to have better working conditions. I worked using the kitchen table as my work desk which then couldn't be used for dining. Also the cooking possibilities were limited as the kitchen is small and therefore can't have too many bowls or utensils (for example there is no whisk or chopping boards). But...

« We had the most incredible stay at Tina’s apartment. From the outside we were actually a bit anxious as some of the other apartment / hotels are run down but the minute you step foot through the door you can see how much time effort and care has been put into your stay.
