"We stayed the weekend to celebrate my Ducks birthday. It was about 20 min outside Eugene. The weather was rainy, cloudy and foggy but the view was still beautiful! Great family room for watching Tv and table in the dining area for games. Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils you need. If you like a fire you might want to bring some wood but other than that I can’t think of a thing we needed. Host was very responsive with questions."

"This is a truly magical and blissful place to stay. Being in the yard feels like a little retreat escape. My toddler loved exploring the yard too. "I booked this place for two top reasons; The fact it was out in the country with a river view And because it had a hot tub on the deck I was disheartened that the hot tub was not functioning. "I am so lucky to have found Carole's cottage. It is a gem in West Eugene. The cottage is well appointed with a comfortable bed and stocked kitchen. We didn’t really have a lot of time at the property as we were getting prepped for the run and left at 5:30 AM to get to the start line. "We loved this place!! Like someone else said in another review, sitting on the porch feels like you're sitting right over the water. It was so comfortable, very straightforward to get checked in, and there was even spare coffee for us to enjoy in the morning. Right as we were leaving we saw a bald eagle battling with a duck on the river, maybe fifty yards from the patio. This was a remarkable place to stay!"
