After crossing what seems like a centuries old stone bridge you take a long drive along sheep and cow pastures before arriving at a set of separate accommodations.
The enterior design is spacious and modern and well stocked with everything you need for a long stay. It was delightful!

Unfortunately the room we booked and paid for was not available upon arrival; our 3 bed family room was downgraded to a one bed which meant someone had to sleep on the floor. The hotel and Hotels.com pointed the finger at each other and we didn't get any refund. The front desk was very apologetic and helpful; she got us a free drink at the bar to compensate us but you can't really...

True "old world charm" in a fairytale garden setting. Michael couldn't have been more helpful and even made sure we were out the door on time for our Newgrange tour. Wish that we could have stayed longer. AWESOME breakfast!

We could not have asked for a better stay at Cabra Castle. The castle and grounds are absolutely stunning; we felt so relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was our last night in Ireland and we had the most beautiful stay. We were upgraded to the Primrose Cottage for no extra cost and had the most amazing suite. Beautiful land with a Castle and old church ruins.

Our stay was amazing - the food was so delicious. We would highly recommend this place to stay while you visit Ireland - perfect driving distance to Dublin.
They were also very helpful in letting us know things to see while in the area but also when we left headed to Limerick gave us excellent things to see on the way.

We landed in Dublin and got our rental car at the airport. Headed easily North to Trim, if you are new to euro driving like I was, I recommend this route. The hotel over looks Trim Castle and is amazing. Would recommend asking for the patio room that lets you sit and gaze at the castle. The entire staff was great, so friendly. The morning staff at breakfast was fabulous, hard working group of people. Rooms were clean, showers were great, no complaints!
