"This is the best hotel we have stayed at in Tenerife. The hotel is spotless and the staff are fantastic. In particular Roberto at reception and Yenifer and Omar in the restaurant. The food was amazing in particular the porridge at breakfast and the beef tenderloin. It didn’t feel mass produced like a few buffets do. The pool was great for my mum who had limited mobility and there were free floats. The heated pool is salt water and there is a non heated fresh water pool.We will definitely be...

Top Los Morteros Hotel Reviews

Royal River, Luxury Hotel - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"My wife and I stayed here in late October for our honeymoon and we were really impressed. This was by far the most memorable hotel/resort from our stay in the Canary Islands. The staff really made us feel welcome and attended to, from the free valet parking to the premium room service at no extra charge, we truly felt like royalty. The hotel was nice enough to grant us a room upgrade due to the nature of our stay and the availability at the resort. The two bedroom suite with river pool was extremely spacious, very clean and tidy, and had nice bathrooms with his and her sinks, as well as an extremely romantic marble tub in each room! The heated semi-private pool came in handy on multiple days where the weather was overcast and a bit colder than expected. The quality of food and drinks was fantastic. They used fresh ingredients in any cocktails and there was never a drink they said they didn't have or couldn't make. The breakfast buffet was top notch, and my wife and I especially enjoyed the Top Brasserie (excellent SeaBass and Chicken) and the BBQ night which had a multi-course pre-fix menu of barbecued meats. Overally we had a delightful experience at the Royal River, and the only possible critique I could come up with is that some of the heated pools were not quite as heated as we would've liked when compared to the private pool. On a sunny day this is irrelevant but we encountered many colder days where this might have improved our stay."

Domes Baobab Suites

8/10 Good

"We have not given a 5 star for the following reasons: - No quiet pool/areas in hotel for adults only. This would be easy to do with the pool on one of the levels. - Breakfast very busy and had to wait in line for several minutes for table. - On first day at breakfast we were not introduced to how things worked, just left to figure it out. - At breakfast sometimes tea/coffee arrived and sometimes it did not. - As a 5 star hotel I would have expected a fresh omelette station at breakfast. - Design of hotel has flaws … as quite a few apartments have their own private pool or hot tub I think there is the assumption that theses will be used to free up the main pools for apartments without private pools but this is not the case as we stayed directly above apartments with private pools and private pools were hardly used with those families going to the main pools thus meaning that there was the age old problem of limited sun beds and bed blockers with towels and no supervision of this. Pools too small for size of hotel with not enough beds. Not a 5 star hotel in our opinion."

Royal Garden Villas & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"I'll start by saying that our expectations were far exceeded. Admittedly, as a US based traveling couple, we had never heard of Royal Garden Villas previously and simply found this property through the use of AI and comparisons to Bali. Once we arrived, we were delighted with our reception and check-in process, the first walk through of the room and exterior patio were better than any pictures on the internet, and we kept it simple our first night and ordered room service. Our first morning, we enjoyed the buffet breakfast, with plenty of options to satisfy the pickiest of palates. And we noticed on subsequent mornings, the buffet menu changed, keeping it from becoming predictable and even making it a little exciting to see what what was new that morning. Housekeeping was quick and complete, never intruding upon our time in our villa. Room service was often delivered ahead of the promised time. Although this property is not directly located on the shoreline, it is within 5 to 10 minutes via taxi. The benefit of this is that we were able to escape the busy parts of Adeje and La Caleta but had ready access to restaurants whenever we felt like venturing out. And the views from the villas, across the golf course and towards both the city lights and shoreline more than made up for our distance from the water. This is a peaceful and quiet property. Its a great option for couples. We hope to return one day as we will always cherish our memories from this trip."
