It was a short Uber to the grounds and after the show we ended up walking back… wasn’t too bad of a walk, took about an hour. Lots of good restaurants a short drive away.The pool and outdoor area is amazing! And we all enjoyed the detailed decor inside. We throughly enjoyed our stay. We miss it already: hummingbirds, parrots squawking above, Gigantica bird of paradise, views of foliage and San Gabriel mountains, spa, perfect pool and patio set up. The kids spent hours and hours swimming in the pool fit for mermaids. The stars come out at night, the patio aglow with tiki torches. Magical! The hosts and their dogs are a real joy to visit with. Thank you for the peaceful get-away! We highly recommend visiting The Huntington, Octavia’s Bookshelf, Millie’s for breakfast…and Grocery Outlet for groceries. Disneyland was also a snap to get to! My 11 year old would like anyone who stays to rescue honey bees caught in the pool. It’s a great location to be able to explore Pasadena and LA, but then have a quiet place to escape to and relax after a busy day.
