The local vineyards begin to bloom, offering scenic views and excellent opportunities for wine tasting tours in the nearby Bordeaux region. This period is particularly good for couples looking for a romantic getaway, as the lighter crowds allow for a more intimate experience at attractions.Autumn also offers agreeable weather, with temperatures between 18°C and 23°C. This season is great for those interested in the grape harvest, which usually takes place from late September to October. Many local châteaux offer special tours and events during this time. Families will find this period enjoyable for outdoor activities, such as cycling along the Garonne River or exploring the Parc de l'Ermitage, as the cooler temperatures are comfortable for children. While summer (July and August) is popular, it can be very hot, with temperatures often exceeding 25°C, and attractions tend to be more crowded. Winter (November to March) can be quite chilly and damp, with some businesses operating on reduced hours.
