Peaceful on the River
This was a wonderful peaceful stay and it was exactly what my sister and I were looking for. The house was furnished with comfort in mind. The full kitchen had a wonderfully large trough sink that I want in my house, and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. There is a king size bed that is so comfortable that it made it hard to want to get out of it. We slept in and just laid there enjoying the peace and comfort surrounding this place. You are not around any highways or heavy traveled roads. One side is a flowing deep river, and the other a dirt road leading to a few houses right past us. The pictures of the patio and fishing right off of it, are accurate. And if you aren't catching fish, you are just admiring the tall tree line on the other side of the river and just listening to the birds and crazy nature sounds that kept us guessing on what they were. Night time was the only time this patio was almost inaccessible due to the amount of bugs that water always brings, especially if you turn on the light, but surprisingly there were very few during the day. I would sit out here and drink my coffee or eat lunch/dinner just to listen to the lovely sounds of it. This place was good for ours souls. I can't say enough about it.
Around your reservation day, the owner will send you a PIN on your map, use it...trust me. You are 20 minutes from Marshall in small country roads that lead you straight to the river.
