"We stayed at Camelback Resort for one night and the experience was frustrating overall. We arrived early and waited 1 hr 20 mins just to check in, then another 1 hr 10 mins for our room. While we were offered pool access and given arcade cards and late checkout (1 PM), it didn’t make up for over 2 hours of waiting. When we finally got to the water park, we were told it closed at 8 PM, so we only had a short time to enjoy it. In the room, the towels were extremely small, not practical for 3 adults and 2 kids. The next morning, I requested more towels and it took almost 2 hours for them to arrive, by then we were already done getting ready. To make things worse, we found out the water park closed at 1 PM that day and wouldn’t reopen until the following weekend. No one mentioned this at check-in, and my son was very upset since we expected to enjoy it after checkout. On top of everything, we were charged a $49.99 resort fee and $25 for self-parking, which felt excessive without clear explanation. Overall, poor communication, long waits, and limited access to amenities made this a disappointing stay."

"I liked that it was small as far as the casino section. Rooms were clean the whole place well maintained, all adults no children around that was nice for a change. Lots to do near by especially for the nature lovers."

"Upon arrival the front desk person was not very friendly. Wasn't helpful at all. The room was clean. Breakfast consisted of a few items, stale muffins. The hotel is close to main street and the University but I doubt I will stay again."

"The Swiftwater has a great aesthetic. The staff was friendly for the most part. The pool was heated and fantastic. The concierge King room was beautiful and had great decoration and the bedding was very comfortable. In addition to we were greeted with a bottle of wine and a bag a sweets. The view of the slope where they feed the white tailed deer was great. The highlight of the place was the Concierge lounge. It is a well decorated space with snacks, coffee/tea, non-alcoholic drinks, beer and wine 24/7. Breakfast, sushi and hors d'oeuvres for lunch and dinner. Another bonus about the property if you have an electric vehicle they offer free charging during your stay. Overall the stay was great. I would return. "

"I ate everything on my plate for breakfast which never happens in a hotel eggs sausage home fries, and toast. Must only be only on Saturdays. They didn’t have anything like that on Friday.."
