"Customer service was great. Everybody was very helpful. Valet was amazing."

"I stayed in a "Standard room". Room was large, clean, but had a pergo hard floor and full size (not Queen) bed. Two windows, one with decent curtains, the other covered with cheap plastic mini-blinds which did little to keep out the light at 5:00am from an east facing wall. Furniture and fittings were adequate but looked like they were scavenged from Home Depot discontinued and various estate sales. This is not a cookie cutter chain Hotel but a Family owned place which has been built up and added to, over a Number of years. Therefore the rooms can vary quite a bit. The Location is besautiful next to Pine Lake. I suspect the rooms facing the lake are much nicer."

"The ad says that the room slept five. When we got there, there was one king size bed, and one full bed . There were four of us guys and not too many guys want to sleep together in a full-size bed. And the staff said that the king size bed would sleep three. I don’t know too many people that sleep three in a bed. That advertising is deceptive. They didn’t offer to give us any other cots or couches or anything because they didn’t have any."

"The room was clean and well maintained, the property was definitely well taken care of. The pool, however, was closed due to maintenance and the coffee machine never worked in the only breakfast place to get a coffee. I missed that it's a smoking casino, something I typically wouldn't spend time at, but overall it was a good experience. They were a bit short staffed and couldn't open certain gaming tables bc of it and the area around the resort didn't have much else going on but we had a good time regardless."

"Very close to indiana dunes state and national park. Room very clean with microwave and and a pretty good size refrigerator. Comfortable bed. There is a nice outdoor patio where you can sit outside. Staff helpful. VERY limited breakfast selections. Coffee was good and was available all the time. Only negative is we were unable to check in early but otherwise everything was great. Will stay again if we're in the area. Thank you"

"I have to tell you first, I am a very positive person that looks for the good points in every situation, and I am generally understanding if things don’t go well. That said, I honestly don’t think this hotel should be listed on Expedia. I paid $325 for this room that was rated 8.6 or “excellent” and it was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Upon arrival I couldn’t even get in to the property. After waiting and knocking a security guard who was watching shows on a computer let me in. Eventually the desk clerk came around and was swearing once she saw the line of people who had gathered. We checked in, got no information about the property or breakfast hours. The room was filthy. Floors -both carpets and tiles - were stained and sticky, bed coverlets and curtains had stains on them (sheets were clean) walls and doors were grimy dirty and sticky. We were so tired after a ten hour drive and checking in at 12:30am that we didn’t have a chance to go somewhere else. Beds had broken old squeaky mattresses -painful to sleep in and sheets were thin like tissue. Shampoo and shower gels were poor quality. I couldn’t tell you about the breakfast because I forgot it was included and wasn’t told about it on check in. I’m so annoyed I spent that money. It was worth maybe $59.99. Do not not matter how desperate you are stay here."
