It's professionally cleaned, laundry is washed at 140°, we have the top cable available in the area, and our heating system is under 10yrs old and regularly serviced. However, it's also a historic house in a rural setting with rooms the caliber of the “popular” historic Equinox Hotel in Manchester. The furnishings are primarily antique and antiques are old. The floors creek and the windows can be hard to open. The kitchen dining area can feel cramped for groups greater than 14\. The cable and Wi-Fi as mentioned, are the best in the area, but the best in this area is not as good as where you come from. If what I'm telling you sounds charming, and most guests do consider a charming, I'm sure you will love this house. Location A rare combination of creature comfort, solitude, and lavish dining and drinking. This is going to be easy, you deserve this. Set in the Green Mountain National Forest with amazing star gazing, mineral water straight from the faucet into your coffee tea or bath and no stoplights, but with WIFI, paved roads, cell-service, a grocer, a liquor store, and incredible shopping skiing and dining. The Blue Door Farm has hosted a wide variety of groups including - Reiki water-healing and other wellness retreats, the Burton Snowboard family, a Bollywood star, the twin baby stars of the Diane Keaton movie Baby Boom (filmed nearby), a former NYC Chief of Police, a Para-Olympic gold medalist, and even a reunion for an 80s band with a multi-platinum album. This house was just minutes from Bromley and a few restaurants and shops. A perfect location for our group of friends and our young kids. The house was more than we could ask for - it was family friendly and each family had so much privacy too. Great communication with owner, quick to respond and helpful with any questions leading up to the trip. We all packed very light on “things” and the house had everything we needed including a play pen, gates , travel cribs and cots. We added on the cottage after our initial booking with no problem and that was perfect to expand the space for everyone. We will definitely look to book again for our next ski trip. It was set up perfectly for a group. Each large bedroom has its own private bathroom. Plus a couple more bathrooms to boot! We enjoyed the property very much, plenty of space to stretch out or if we wanted to be together we had nice large rooms and a beautiful yard to be together in. The fire pit was amazing! We had plenty of room in the kitchen for all of us. There were 16 of us in total. The kitchen is set up great for groups. We catered dinner each night and found wonderful food at the local establishments. We plan on coming back! ##### Toni F. Each bedroom was unique. The property is in a beautiful location that is close to a great grocery store, good restaurants, historic sites and good medical. The property had a wonderful laundry facilities with multiple washers and dryers. We really enjoyed the fit pit that was located in the middle of the meadow with plenty of firewood. This was great for holding all of us, plenty of room and amenities. The house itself is old and well used, but that is reflected in the great price, and is only the house. The beds and bathrooms were wonderful and modern. New and high quality mattresses, down comforters, Jacuzzi tubs, plentiful towels. The location is excellent. It is set back off the road enough for you to be comfortable letting the kids play, but it is only 15 minutes to Manchester and 5 minutes to the nearest shopping. For us this was ideal; private, but convenient. Overall, this is was loved by everyone in the party. We all agreed this is where we will go next time we are in town. The house is designed to accomodate a large group since all of the bedrooms have an en suite bathrooms. This was key with 6 children of varying ages and 4 adults. We also brought our pets which was wonderful. They had a great time frolicking in the snow! The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not working. The owner apologized and gave us an additional bedroom, but the kids were still disappointed. ##### nicole s.
