The apartment is situated on the river and next to Furnival Gardens - a popular and pleasant park The river walkway is fun and lively with a great selection of gastro-pubs serving fantastic food and drink. Awarding winning restaurants such as The River Cafe and The Gate are within 10 mins walk. Tesco Express convenience store and more restaurants are all within minutes walk. The main shopping areas, Hammersmith Broadway and King St are 10 mins walk away and have an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants for all budgets. Great location for exploring London. The underground is 7-8 mins walk from the apartment. There are direct tube lines to most major attractions - approx 15-20 mins to most tourist hot spots. Hammersmith is next door to Kensington, Notting Hill, Fulham and Chiswick. Knightsbridge and Chelsea are also in close proximity by cab or underground. Cycle hire from London Bike scheme available locally. The apartment is on the main route out of town, so its only 30 mins to Windsor Castle and Legoland by train or car. GETTING AROUND Parking space in gated car park included. 7-8 mins walk from Hammersmith Broadway Underground. Direct tube to Heathrow Airport all terminals. Quick and easy to get on the M4, M3 & A3 to head out of London to the West. Direct tube to mainline train stations London Paddington and Kings Cross St.Pancras for Eurostar services OTHER THINGS TO NOTE There are 2 pubs directly below the apartment. These are generally well managed with drinkers vacating the premises usually by about 11pm. On the whole the noise level is at a pleasant level throughout the evening, with buskers adding to the ambience. There is a pub across the street from the flat that serves good food and good beer. The flat was great because it is a short 10 minute walk to Hammersmith station to connect to the central parts of London and also there are many restaurants, pubs, cafes along the Thames River waterfront as well as on the opposite side of Hammersmith Bridge and in surrounding neighborhoods. It is great for a group of 1-4 but might be a little too crowded for more than four due to the 2nd room only having a twin size bed. Great to be close to everything but far enough away to get away from the hustle and bustle of a large busy city. ##### Ed S.
