"The communication by the staff on check in was great! The person checking us in was very helpful and accommodating. They are remodeling rooms at the lodge, so we ended up staying in the Woodlands - it was a cabin that had 2 rooms, each with outside entrance. The room was adequate, although very dated, the refrigerator was not working properly and there were lights that weren't working. The beds seemed older, but surprisingly comfortable. The park was beautiful though, we enjoyed being close to the trails and visitor center. I would recommend coming here, but perhaps wait until the lodge rooms are fully remodeled (after next summer 2027)."

"The outside light was not working. I did mention it and still did not work after 2 days. The new tv did not have network. The wifi was really weak. They swapped it out for an old one that actually received old channels. Bathroom fan was real loud and made a screeching noise"

"This is a cozy little cabin with good road access and little traffic. Very clean and well equipped. Bathroom is tiny but functional. Overall, we had a great stay."

"The cabin was a little smaller than what was pictured. The ladder to get to the bed was insane. Guests should be warned. There needs to be some sort of slant to the ladder somehow. It is very steep and not much head room clearance. Even for a younger person, it is difficult to get into bed. Maybe put a sign at the top of the trail cut in so that guests know to turn onto the gravel path. It’s very hard to see in the dark. Other than that, very clean, very nice off grid living. Great location."
