"Room was clean and staff friendly"

"Staff was the best part of the stay. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The Lodge was under renovation so we stayed in a cabin. Loved that there was a kitchenette. Although dated, the cabins were clean and comfortable. The beds and bedding were also comfortable with plenty of pillows."

"The house was excellent. Has everything you need, which we really appreciated, we didn't have to bring anything from home! It was very clean and my boys just loved all the space. We plan on being return visitors, anytime we visit our KY family, we will stay at this house if it's available!"

"We stayed here overnight on a long drive from FL to MI, so did not try the pool or anything - just needed a place to sleep! The front desk staff were very nice and the lobby was decorated for easter, which was cute. The hotel is definitely dated, which does not matter, just an observation. For the price we paid, I am more than okay with spending a night in the 1990’s! The only problem we had was despite most things being clean and orderly, a couple small things were concerning and may have warranted a call down to the front if we were spending more time there. The electrical outlet near the sink in our room looked like the last guest had almost caused quite the fire, and the air vent on the bathroom ceiling looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last renovation (pics attached). The desk in our room was also one gust of wind away from collapse, but whatever. Would definitely stay here again, but would not plan on plugging in my flat iron in the morning. "

"Our stay was pleasant. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t watch sports channels during March Madness (what???). They didn’t have espn and other “premium” channels, the tvs would not accept casting and the staff knew it was an issue. "

"Pool area was ok, needed to have more chlorine to keep it cleaner. The room floors were sticky and dirty. There wasnt any extra blankets in the rooms so my husband ended up having to walk down to the front desk after trying to call down twice. The breakfast was alright, although the drink machine was broken. The area outside was outdated and needed some TLC. "
