I found this to be a traditional Chambre d'Hôte, where you don't feel you are in a hotel but rather a guest in the house of the owners. My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were very good, and the hosts were welcoming. What more do you need? The house is about a 10-minute walk from Gaillac across the river. It is also a fairly short drive into Albi, which is a small city that is well worth exploring.

I stayed at the hotel one night. It's located very close to the cathedral and the Toulouse Museum. There is no lobby at the hotel. The entrance and reception is located right at the restaurant. The absence of lobby is compensated by the amazing room, great staff and delicious restaurant. I stayed in room 7 (I think). The room was spacious with trendy decor overlooking the city hall. It was very comfortable! In the morning I was welcomed by the great smile of the morning staff. After my morning...

This hotel has it all. Perfect location: right on the river with amazing views, easy to find, easy to get in and out of town, easy to get to sites and restaurants. Rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay and are quiet. Staff were helpful and efficient. The only negative was that the charged us for the rooms on our bill even though we prepaid through Expedia. That may be a problem on Expedia’s side, since I thought originally that I had reserved rooms without prepayment.
