The location of the Chalets is perfect. And access to a swimming pool in July was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was clean, and the hot tub was amazing. We had a little trouble with the Wi-Fi, but they came right up and got it going for us. We would definitely go back.
After all day hiking in Hocking Hills, it was great to be able to drive the short distance back to our chalet to relax in the hot tub and just hang out. Would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay. The quiet, the fresh air...even the thunder storm was beautiful. The first time in a jacuzzi together! We enjoyed the local ashopping
Loved Hocking Hills! Hikes were great, our cabin was a short drive to town & all the hikes! Loved the hot tub! Didn’t realize there wasn’t an oven & was a small fridge. A frame was nice & comfortable!
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. It is nicely decorated, the hot tub functioned perfectly, and we liked the exclusivity of the cabin. Even though it was surrounded by other A frames we felt alone and enjoyed that aspect. It is in a great location and the foliage and weather couldn’t have been better. We would definitely stay here again!!!!
My husband & I stayed 3 days in the A-Frame. It was clean & quiet, nice location to the State Park & JG Astronomy dark park. The hot tub was clean & fresh with an easy-off lid. There a nice little ice cream shop just around the corner from the office. We’ll be back for another stay!
The property was better than the pictures, perfect for our 3 people, and central to all locations we planned to visit. Exactly as advertised. We appreciated the hottub before and after the hikes! We were happy that our cabin was near the end of the row, as we could not tell that during the planning process. The cabin and hottub were clean and staff were very helpful. Our only concern was not being given the cabin code until hours prior to our arrival, which was standard procedure, but unnerving to travel out of state with no confirmation of the cabins access.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication, location
Small
The fire ring it referred to was a small 3x3 area on the opposite side of the road. No place to relax outside besides the back deck
Our cabin was far nicer than we expected Ted, the view was delightful and the bed was comfortable. We plan to book for Fall 2024.
Two Minor Suggestions:
1. Our grill was unusable because it was rusty. Can’t put meat on a rusty grill. It spoiled our cookout plans.
2. In the dark, it was extremely difficult to locate our Aframe cabin. I suggest that the sign pointing to the cabins be replaced with signage that is easily visible.
Great communication, easy check-in, clean and in a great location, comfy bed. My husband came for quiet and to rejuvenate. The fridge was so small that as a single person staying 5 days he had to rely on his cooler from home and go to a store 3 times for ice. He only brought basics, bacon, eggs, steak, etc, He wasn’t cooking elaborate meals, but he cooked all five days and the fridge wasn’t suitable for even one person. The photos make it look secluded and private, it is not. Getting in and out of his hot tub, the way he had to go to get to his hot tub wasn’t completely blocked from neighbor view, just an FYI. Bring a robe, he saw people twice. The A-frames are so close together he was capable of hearing the conversations of the people next to him which was distracting since the point of the trip was quiet getaway. If your point is hiking and eating out and hotel-level privacy is fine at night when you’re in the cabin? He did like it. As a quiet or romantic getaway? Unfortunately no.
Cabin was cozy and clean. Hot tub was nice but with a little too much chlorine. First time staying in a “A” frame, husband didn’t care for it too much but I didn’t mind. Would stay again with Chalets maybe just a different style cabin.
It was absolutely wonderful. Very clean!!!!! Everything you could possibly want. Beautiful scenery while relaxing in the hot tub. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We will definitely be returning. The area has so much to do. Bringing family back with us. Also we brought our little yorkie with us and everywhere we went was puppy friendly. Highly recommend hocking Hills and staying at the chalets.
