"We enjoyed a quiet night sitting by the water and on the covered porch listening to the crickets, night birds and other critters. We were comfortable and short drive from Caddo State Park and Caddo National Wildlife Refuge and enjoyed a swamp tour with a local captain in Uncertain, Texas. It was an interesting and comfy stay on our roadtrip. "

"The property was exactly as I wanted- quiet, and no nearby neighbors so it felt very private. House was well stocked with kitchen items, linens, etc and the bed was very comfortable. FYI- the grill is charcoal, so be sure to bring if you want to grill. Also- while the view is gorgeous, don't expect to be getting in the water as it is pretty murky. I did send an email to host prior to arriving asking about the grill and a few things in which I did not receive a reply, but other than that the...

"This was a great place in a great spot for my family's yearly Caddo fishing trip. We had plenty of room for the 8 of us and easy access to the lake. The hosts were very flexible and attentive and made us feel very welcomed. "
