"This was out 4th visit to the Victoria Falls Waterfront. The welcome is always exceptional - warm and friendly. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The pools are clean and inviting. The bar and food are run to a very high standard. I understand that the lodge is owned by the company which provides safaris and other activities in the area so booking these is easy. We have now done a walking safari 4 times and see and learn new things each time. Cannot recomend this place enough."

"Pleasant lodge with about 10 rooms, located in a quiet area away from busy streets. Lobby and gardens have much interesting art. There is an on-site restaurant, serving mostly meat, but also a tasty vegan stir-fry with rice for $12USD. Some rooms look out over the pool. Outside bar area. It is located a 5 minute walk from the intercity bus station, but is too far to walk from the bridge at Victoria Falls - a taxi is about $10USD. Easy 15-minute walk to shopping area with ATM and bureau de change. "

"Gloria's is great. There was a few things that didn't work or took a little to get to be functional, but don't let that overshadow the care and energy that goes into the property, the service, the food and the overall vibe. Gloria is stellar, I had a solid breakfast on my porch in pretty superb weather. It is a little bit of a walk to town but I felt safe and had a great time!"

"The welcome was amazing which my children loved and appreciated a lot. I am a Zambian who has lived and given birth to my children abroad. This was the first time I brought my children (24, 22 and 8 years old) to Zambia to fully embrace the culture and Avani gave us that. From the welcome to the night entertainment, and all the in-between surrounding activities were just phenomenal. We could sit having a meal and the Zebras or impalas are also grazing just a few meters away from us without any fear as the animals mind their own business- this was a beautiful experience. All the staff were super friendly. The planned activities were not too far away from the hotel too and transport was very easy to access- so another positive. Overall- a very positive 4-day stay and the children have asked that we go back! 5**"

"Beautiful hotel right in the river with exceptional staff. Rooms could use an update but the beds and linens very comfortable and nice quality. Difficult to get anywhere from the hotel as it’s not walkable. "
