"Bed was a pull out couch. Which may have been in the description and I missed it.. The “hot tub” was a bathtub with jets. Just not “as nice” as expected, but it was definitely worth it. The view and balcony on the shore, listening to the waves and having a fire going in the fireplace- it was perfect. "

"Very nice area very nice unit that we were in. We did have some poor communication. We ran out of toilet paper on the first day, and there was no more anywhere in our unit. A text was not returned. When I called, she wasn’t the friendliest person in the world, but said she would have some delivered. There was never anything delivered. And I wasn’t gonna call again, so we went out and bought our own. I have wrote since then, with no reply. Besides that, it was a very nice stay! "

"This is a great hotel with all rooms overlooking Lake Superior. Rooms are updated and very clean. The inroom coffee maker, mini frig and microwave were nice added features. They even serve a small complimentary breakfast items in the lobby and they have free bike rentals. Staff was amazing."

"This is a prime property for anyone looking for amazing views of Lake Superior in a central location close to Black Beach, Splitrock Lighthouse, and Gooseberry Falls. The owner is responsive and very accommodating. The price is reasonable for what you get: beautiful view with balcony, complete kitchen, 3 bedrooms, master suite upstairs with a stunning view and jacuzzi. Just an hour north of Duluth, it is perfect for a small family, getaway for a couple, or an individual. 5 stars for sure."
