Family Vacation
This was one our families best vacations and the best VRBO home we have ever rented. The host, Brian was so informative and gave us every piece of information we needed to make our time on Little Cayman a success. The house provided anything we could possibly need. The dishes and decor gave us a real island vacation feel. The views from the house were unreal. We could watch the sunrise and sunset from the porch. The snorkeling at the reef by the house was amazing and extremely easy to navigate. Our whole family fell in love with Little Cayman. We rented a van and explored the whole island, visiting our favorite spots on multiple occasions. We would see others enjoying the areas as well but not often and never a crowd. We have two 18 year old boys, a 15 year old girl and a 10 and 12 year old boy. We were concerned they would get bored but the island provided enough nature to keep them occupied. The locals were so friendly and inviting that we truly felt that we were living like the locals for a week. We enjoyed some very precious family time at Beachcombers. I would highly recommend this as a family vacation and listen closely to what Brian has to say because he sets you up for a truly successful time on Little Cayman and provides some of the best accommodations a vacationer could ask for.

My family and I were looking for a remote, private, beach get-away where we could unplug and relax and we found it! From booking through check-out the process was smooth, thanks Brian and Marc! With 3 young adult children, 1 teenager and a tech husband, the home is equipped with all the modern conveniences and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house was very clean upon arrival and the grounds were also immaculate, the ocean is literally steps from the deck. There are many kitchen appliances, including a washer/dryer and every kitchen tool you can imagine including a huge kitchen island. Beach towels and the softest bath & hand towels were plentiful including soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. for the 6 of us. There are several puzzles and books which we enjoyed in the evening along with star gazing. I can't remember the last time I saw so many stars! The location is very private, we encountered more chickens and rock iguana's then people when exploring the island. We rented several scooters which were great as the weather cooperated everyday. There is a small grocery and spirits store near the airport. Although expensive, I was quite surprised and happy with the selection provided. When we didn't feel like cooking, we went to the Little Cayman Resort, Southern Cross Resort or Hungry Iguana - good service, the food was great! We brought our own snorkeling gear, which we used every day, snorkeling at the house reef (right out the back door) and around the island. Three house kayaks are provided and was great as we could snorkel and kayak together or separately. Point of Sand is another must see, very private and the water is crystal clear. Perfect for swimming, snorkeling, walking the beach or relaxing and reading. Thank you Brian for sharing your beautiful home with us! We were very sad to leave and hope to be back!

Paradise Indeed!
This property is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of room for 5 adults and two kiddos. Gorgeous views of the water. Close to Point of Sands and great snorkeling from the beach in front of the house. Beautifully appointed. Just bring sunscreen and swim suits. Forget bottled water. The water filtration system here provides crystal clear drinking water. We hate to leave and are already planning to return. Brian, our host, is quick to respond and provides you with helpful information about things to do while you are here. Mark, the local property manager will give you a guided tour as he drives you from the airport to Beachcomber’s Paradise. Airport trip is about 20 minutes. Seahorse Boutique is great for shopping and amazing eggs Benedict. It’s just a short walk from the airport. Dianne also makes cakes if you are celebrating a special occasion. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful home away from home. Just don’t book when we want to return! LOL

Great vacation!
Beachcombers Paradise was perfect for our vacation! From arriving on Little Cayman to our flight home, everything was fantastic! The house was extremely well outfitted and clean. The location was perfect for us. Snorkeling and kayaking right outside the back door! The homeowner provided great information and suggestions and was very responsive to our many questions. It all made for a very enjoyable and relaxing vacation.

Beachcombers paradise was wonderful. Great get away and just enough seclusion that we felt like we were alone on this end of the island. Very good snorkeling right off the beach. Tip: the boat ramp right down the beach is a very easy way to get in and out of the water to snorkel. House very comfortable for our group of 6. Kitchen well stocked with cook wear. Would highly recommend if you truly want to get away from it all. That said the WiFi worked great when we did have to check in. We rented a car and two scooters so that we had mobility and it was perfect for us. Definitely a 5 star experience all the way around.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Little Cayman in the Beachcomber's Paradise home. The views and accessibility of the water and the ability to snorkel right off the private beach were superb. The home is spotless, comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. The island and location are perfect for those who want to relax in privacy in a beautiful setting. Thank you for opening your home to us. Bob and Kathy

Absolute Bliss
Our stay at Beachcomber’s Paradise exceeded our expectations. The space was perfect for 8 of us — 2 families of 4. The house is well-stocked with everything from kitchen tools to kayaks. We snorkeled off the beach every day and enjoyed evenings hanging out on the deck basking in the warm breezes. Thank you Brian for everything. We will definitely be back!

Perfect, secluded, quiet island getaway!
My girlfriend and I were looking for an off-the-grid beach vacation. We wanted to be away from the resorts/tourists & just enjoy the beach and quiet around us while being in a comfortable, private, beautiful home. Little Cayman & the Beachcomber's Paradise delivered beyond our expectations. As long as you do a little bit of reading on Little Cayman and know it's limitations, you'll be able to enjoy it to the fullest. At no point did my girlfriend & I go without any convenience or in need of anything. Brian, the owner, sent a very thorough guide that helped us immensely and provided information that perfectly prepared us for our stay at his house on Little Cayman. Marc and Neil were the management crew and all 3 were very prompt with their communication. Neil met us at the airport even when our flight was delayed over an hour. The rental car company was closed and he made two calls and had them there in less than 5 minutes and then lead us to the house. All after hours due to our late arrival. We can't say enough good things about Neil and Marc. They provide a sense of assistance and availability if needed (although we never needed them). The house.....perfect! If you want a quiet space with the ocean in your backyard where you can walk off the deck and snorkel: this is it. Plenty of space/bedrooms and an ideal kitchen for multiple couples/family. Massive island and a kitchen that had more than everything we needed. We were surprised how well. stocked with utensils, plates, equipment, pots and pans there were. The back deck is awesome and where we spent a ton of our time especially at night. Other reviews mention it: but nighttime under the stars was one of our favorite things. Neither one of us had ever seen that many stars...even on a backpacking trip. Not a single ounce of light pollution. We saw 2-5 shooting stars every night! We do not dive but snorkeled every day, twice a day. Point of Sands is a MUST. It's the prettiest beach I've ever been on. We spent a day there with a picnic basket and cooler. It's truly the type of beach you see in photos/ads/magazines/etc. We highly recommend Hungry Iggy & Pirates Cove for dinner. They were the only 2 times we ate out. We cooked the rest of our meals. I can't recommend this house & Little Cayman enough if you want to get off the grid, your computer (although the house does have Wi-Fi) and your phone to enjoy the sun, sand and water. It's beautiful...it's paradise!!!

Perfect house for our family vacation
This house was everything we expected and more! We wouldn't have changed a thing. When we arrived to the island everyone was so friendly and helpful getting us settled. If you want a secluded, beautiful location for your vacation, this is the house! In our time at the house we never once saw another person on our beach. We could walk down the beach for an hour and didn't see hardly anyone. We experienced the same at any of the other beaches we visited - the beach all to ourselves! The house was VERY clean and gave the 5 of us plenty of space to spread out. We loved the porch to relax and watch the ocean (which is literally steps from the house). And the ocean....we snorkeled almost every day on the reef right outside the house and saw tons of fish, turtles, sting rays and even 2 small sharks! It is a shallow swim out to the reef but it is a bit of a swim (maybe 100 yards) and kind of a rocky entry right at the house. But even our 10 year old could manage easily. There were spots that were more sandy just a little ways down the beach and the reef just keeps going so you can really enter anywhere. We also drove up the north shore of the island a little ways to where the dive boats anchor and swam out and snorkeled right at some of the dive sites. Truly amazing snorkeling everywhere on the island. The location of the house is perfect - it's close to the resorts/store but also close to Point of Sand which is a must see. When we visited in July the north side was definitely a little calmer which made the snorkeling and swimming so easy. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you Brian and family for sharing your home with us.

Great Vacay House!
This is our second visit to the Little Cayman. The house we previously stayed at (Bloody Bay Bungalow) was sold a year or so ago and no longer available at vrbo, so we decided to stay at BEACHCOMBERS' PARADISE. The house is further away from town and airport, but it situated at a nice stretch of beach and shoreline. Snorkeling is wonderful just in front of the house. And of course, Little Cayman is one of the best SCUBA diving location anywhere. We really liked the house, and it's very private. Loved the kitchen stove-bench centerpiece, very functional and convenient. Beds are very comfy, and wifi worked great. Everything worked fine, but if there's anything, I'd say some of the blinds are not working really well. Overall, a great stay and highly recommend it!

Everything you need in a house on the reef
I would recommend this house and this Island to anyone who loves to be off the beaten path. The house was comfortable, spacious and the kitchen was especially well stocked with everything you need for making your meals. The view from inside and out on the patio of the blue water which is steps away was unobstructed and gorgeous. We had our water shoes to walk through the shallows and then we would swim or snorkel to our hearts content. There are no crowds on this whole island!! Brian responded quickly to all of our questions and was easy to work with. We will certainly try to return.

Great place for non-divers to enjoy Little Cayman
The house was perfect for our family of non-divers. We were very close to Point of Sand where our snorkelers went every day. The beach walkers in our group enjoyed walking the beach at the house and at Point of Sand. The sun worshipers loved the back porch that overlooked the water. The kitchen was well set up for my brother-in-law to cook us wonderful meals using ingredients both from his suitcase and from the Little Cayman grocery store. A special thanks to Mark for introducing us to the island and to the house. We had one issue that he addressed immediately.

Great home with amazing views
We had a wonderful time. It was like we had our own private island. Most of our time was spent in the back porch enjoying the stunning view, fishing, soaking up the sun and star gazing. The spacious home accommodated our group of seven with ease. The snorkeling around the island is wonderful. The water clarity is unbelievable. We did a lot of kayak fishing and shore fishing wi great success. The sunsets are gorgeous and then the show of stars come to life. The locals were really nice and helpful. We felt safe the entire time on the island. Never locked the doors, left the keys In the car everywhere we went. Truly a wonderful vacation. We’ll be back! Thanks Brian

Wonderful Stay
Brian's property is very well maintained with an incredible view of the Bay and Ocean. Having been to Little Cayman several times, we decided to do something different and stay on the North shore away from the resorts on the south shore. It was a great choice. The house had everything we needed, including excellent snorkeling in the bay right out the door. Brian also gives you a great summary of everything about the house and Little Cayman (including phone numbers) that is very helpful. Our experience was great and I highly recommend this property.

So peaceful; excellent ocean view.
We stayed at Beachcomber's Paradise while we spent a week scuba diving at Little Cayman for our family vacation. We dived with Conch Club Divers, leaving from the Little Cayman Beach Resort pier each morning. Our diving experience was wonderful, the best we have seen yet, after many trips to the Caribbean. Each afternoon, we simply RELAXED at Beachcomber's Paradise. The house is comfortably furnished and roomy enough so that every family member had plenty of space to savor the downtime (All of us needed to recover from stress related to Hurricane Harvey flood damage and repairs. One son had begun his first-ever fulltime professional job and another son had just completed his sophomore year in a tough college major, and both needed a break.) Sitting on the large sofas in the living area, looking through the expansive windows/doors with their great views, and simply watching the sea was so therapeutic for all of us. We could see the waves breaking over the "house reef" just 50 yards in front of the house. The house reef and the patch reefs in front of it are fun to snorkel, too. Although we ate most evening meals at the Hungry Iguana restaurant in Blossom Village, we did cook some meals, as well; the kitchen is fully furnished and the appliances are good quality. We also appreciated the wifi, Netflix, books, and all the little personal touches displayed in the house. The on-demand hot water heaters providing warm water to the indoor showers are tricky and don't work very well, but the outdoor shower was especially appreciated. This house's location on the north shore of Little Cayman is so peaceful, we felt as if we had the island to ourselves. Occasionally, we would see a little fishing boat pass by between the house and the "house reef". For us, that is the best thing about Beachcomber's Paradise, beautiful views and tranquility.

Wonderful home on the north shore of Little Cayman
This wonderful home which is located on a quiet, private lot on Mary's Bay on the north shore of Little Cayman affords wide open water views by day, sunsets each evening, fantastic stargazing and milky way views at night. The pristine house has everything necessary for a comfortable stay--the kitchen is extremely well supplied with plenty of seating for a large group. The furnishings are in excellent condition and the island decor is soothing blues and greens, so even when hanging out inside, you feel as if you are on vacation. The bathrooms are modern and clean, with room for storage. The bedrooms have plenty of storage with comfortable beds, there is ample outdoor furniture, an outdoor shower with an open water view, kayaks, a well-kept yard in complete privacy. We ventured to town often, took the CCMI tour, took the iguana tour at the Museum, and visited Little Cayman National Trust, attended talks at Southern Cross, went to both Trivia and Karaoke nights at Little Cayman Beach Resort, and more. Driving on Little is fun, yielding to the iguanas by day, to the crabs by night and waving at drivers as you pass by. An extremely friendly island and wonderfully safe. We were told by the car rental agency, the safest place for the car keys is in the car. That was fun! Stocking up on groceries on the layover in Grand Cayman is ideal; if your vacation tends towards less driving and more hanging out, this home is very welcoming and comfortable. There is a stereo and Netflix for those who prefer to lounge in the evenings. The house is located close to my favorite snorkeling spots, Point of Sand and Jackson's Point. One morning was spent shelling on Preston Bay and another, kayaking to Owen Island (which I recommend at incoming tide for better snorkeling). The setting and the house itself make this a beautiful location for either a leisurely or active vacation. Exceedingly pleased I chose Beachcomber's Paradise for 10 days of adventure. Many thanks!

A comfortable home and a great place to enjoy the sun and the sea.
We stayed at Beach Combers Paradise 2 years ago on our first trip to Little Cayman. It was such a restful vacation and the diving was great. We decided to come back again this year and spent 9 wonderful nights. We ate out a few times and cooked several meals a the house. A nice well equipped kitchen and the gas grill make cooking at the house an easy choice. That gave us more time to chill by the shore and watch the sunset.

Great house, great snorkeling and fishing.
We had a great time snorkeling, fishing, eating out, kayaking. We have been to a number of islands and enjoyed the convenience and variety of products at the grocery store. It took a while for the house to cool off with the air conditioning and for us to adjust to the heat. We brought swim shoes so getting out to the snorkeling areas off of our beach was easy and well worth it. Had a hard time finding a mid-afternoon pina colada but there is a liquor store right next to the grocery store. Everyone was friendly and helpful . Great trip

The perfect place to be - wish I could add pictures - it is what you see times 10.
Where to begin. The snorkeling on the reef is amazing. We saw so many fish, conch, lobster, eagle ray(!), turtles, starfish, even a really lazy nurse shark and and a barracuda or two. Amazing diversity just off the beach from the house. Quiet. We saw a handful of boats go by during our week here and that was it. No jet skis, no paragliding, no constant buzz of boats flying by. At night you start to realize just how special it is to be in a place where there is ZERO light pollution, you couldn't see a light anywhere on the ocean. And OMG the stars. We live in the middle of the mountains and we thought we had great star gazing - very unexpectedly we were just totally blown away by the stars here. I packed a lot of stuff for this trip, and really wish I'd brought a telescope - but seeing the colors of the Orion nebula with our bird watching binoculars was just priceless. Next time we come here I'm going to time it during a new moon. Sunsets were wonderful. As much as we hated another day to go by, at the end of each day we were rewarded in spectacular style from the porch of the house. It really was quite delightful. The house is great. Everything just works. Heck, I might have to upgrade my fridge at home after using the one here. Great ice maker, the bag of ice we bought upon arrival went unused. The water tasted great too. :-) It takes about 10-15 minutes to drive from here to the "center of town" where we had some good meals, did lots of grocery shopping, some diving, etc. Super easy drive, zero traffic. On the way in to town one morning I decided to listen to the car radio and got a station from Grand Cayman and they had a traffic report. LOL! I passed one car - that's the little Cayman traffic report. We visited the Little Cayman Museum where Tanja greeted us and also gave us a comprehensive look into the world of the Cayman Rock Iguana. Wonderful. The Gladys Howard Nature Trust visitor center was staffed by people who really knew their birds - highly educational. We ate at the bar at Little Cayman Beach resort twice. Hungry Iguana once for Indian food, and sushi night at Pirates Point. At Pirates Point you will be seated at a table with other diners and unfortunately we were seated with very poor company, on our last night there, sure wish we'd just stayed in and enjoyed this lovely location for one more night. Bravo Brian. Thanks for the beautiful, special, relaxing, paradise. We really couldn't be happier unless we'd stayed longer :-)

Incredible view, amazing home, with everything that you could want.
We have made a tradition of taking our family on a trip for Christmas each year, we usually go to a different location each year and have been to some amazing places throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, and the US. Everyone in our family of 6 was asking if we could make Little Cayman our every year stop. The house is a great size, has lots of space, and an amazing kitchen, and has every item that you might possibly need. It's located right on the water and has some amazing snorkeling right in front of the house. With the water, and the view, I could have just sat on the back porch for the entire week and been happy. We were met at the airport by Marc and Peter and they were very helpful and informative about the island and the home. They provided bicycles for all of us that we were able to use throughout our stay. The island is incredibly beautiful and fun to explore. We did not dive this time and that is a big deal on Little Cayman, but we hope in the future to plan that into our trip. As you might expect being on a remote island things are more expensive, the restaurants and the items at the one store are a bit pricey but we were planning for that so it was no big deal. We visited all of the resorts on the island throughout the week and they were very welcoming and allowed us to use their facilities and restaurants. Since this is a review I do have to mention one small issue, the bedrooms do not have air conditioning in to them except for the master. While my wife and I slept like babies in the master bedroom, the other bedrooms could get a little warm at night. With all that said, we're already trying to book this house for this upcoming Christmas, so don't try. Ha-Ha. The reviews and pictures are all wonderful for this place, but you really have to experience it in person it's beautiful! Thank you so much Brian for sharing your home, and if you ever decide to sell it please let me know!

Amazing Views
Thank you Brian for having a wonderful, comfortable house on Little Cayman. This was the most relaxing vacation ever. Waking up to the view, looking at the view while reading on the porch or enjoying the view while kayaking and shell-hunting on the beach..... We ate all but 4 dinners in the house and had everything we needed. Thanks to Mark (Property Manager) for taking lounge chairs to Point of Sand which we went to several times. The snorkeling at Point of Sand, over the Bloody Bay Wall and around Owen Island was great. Got a picture of a nurse shark, saw an eagle ray at the wall along with a Queen Triggerfish and too many barracudas! Overall if you want to "kind of" off of the grid with no agenda this is the place!

Family vacation
Our family spent nine nights at Beachcombers Paradise. The five of us really had a great time on the private stretch of sandy beach. Reading, napping in the shade of a palm tree, or snorkeling in the beautiful clear water. Three of us are divers and we would make the 10-15 minute ride each morning to the other end of the island to dive with conch club divers. We had a great time with them diving some of the worlds best sites. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for dining, playing games,or just lounging on the large sofas. The kids actually slept on the sofas at night because two of the air conditioners are at each end of the large living room. The master bedroom has a third air conditioner making it very comfortable for my wife and me. We loved the house, beach, and the island. Every one we met on the island were very friendly. We felt safe and welcomed every where we went. We would definitely do it again. And definitely recommend Beachcombers Paradise.

Short Stay but want to go back and stay again
We were only on the island for 3 nights but would love to stay here again. House is located on a nice stretch of beach where you can watch the Sunset every night. House was well equipped with everything you could want to cook and enjoy your stay. We snorkeled daily out front and saw dozens of lobsters. Even saw a Nurse shark inside the barrier reef. Entry was easy but generally a long walk or swim through the shallow water. Only one minor issue, is only one bedroom has air conditioner. I felt we needed to cool too much in the living room to make the bedrooms comfortable for sleeping. There was no issue but we wanted to be conservative using power and water. Overall, this was a great place to stay. Lots of shade out front to relax and enjoy doing nothing.

SOoooo relaxing!
We just returned from a week's vacation on Little Cayman Island, staying at the Beachcomber's Paradise. There are not enough words to describe our satisfaction with this house right on the shoreline. It was quiet, secluded, and had spectacular views. The house itself was very accommodating and comfortable, provided with nearly every implement one may need in the kitchen. We prepared most meals in, using the grill, and had some meals out. (Family loved the Indian curry at Hungry Iguana). Every night, it was our ritual to watch the sunset while we had our own little wine & cheese event. On most evenings, our boys snorkeled right in front of the house, acquired a conch or two, cleaned and prepared the conch into a ceviche appetizer. Doesn't get much better than that! The snorkeling was awesome, right out the back door---we saw nurse sharks, lobsters, sea turtles, squid, starfish, stingray, urchins, barracuda, puffer fish...and that was in addition to the many colorful schools of fish. The owner, Brian, was VERY helpful in answering any questions we had and providing MANY helpful tips and recommendations to make our trip all that it could be. We would rate this trip as one of our best! Our group consisted of 2 parents with 3 adult children, all from different locations, so it was a "quality" reunion/gathering. Should you decide to come to this place, do not underestimate the value of the "Beachcomber's Guide" that Brian and his wife put together--it contains much valuable and helpful information, obviously a product of experience. We would definitely recommend this house.
