![The coolest "bridge" I have ever "driven" across! Drive aboard and take flight over the River Usk in this 110 year old engineering marvel. Only six of these historic bridges remain in operation, and the Newport Bridge is the longest with a 196m span (645ft).

A modern highway bridge passes nearby, so these days the bridge operates as a novelty. Show up on either side, and the operator will come pick you up! « Excellent accueil pour des français débarquant en Angleterre. Un grand merci à cet étudiant français travaillant dans l'établissement qui a pu nous aider efficacement comme interprète. Deux petites remarques sans gravité : 1) lumière tamisée de la chambre trop faible pour des personnes âgées n'ayant pas une excellente vue. 2) lit et chambre non faite le premier jour ! Toutefois le personnel est aux petits soins et on y mange très bien à un prix très abordable. Félicitations et compliments pour...

"Pour un Hilton, la qualité n'est pas au top, le ménage n'est pas fait sous les lits. Pour l'accès à la chambre, ça dépends où vous etes sinon il faut traverser des couloirs, monter au 2eme puis descendre au 1er, bref c'est assez compliqué de s'y retrouver. La photo de la façade est alléchante mais c'est juste une petite partie, la partie des chambres n'est pas superbe comme on pourrait le penser. Literie très dure."

"Nous sommes un peu déçus… l’hôtel est en fait attenant au manoir et non dans le manoir. Nos chambres n’étaient pas très propres (draps salis, rideaux déchirés, trace de nourriture présente sur la moquette) mais spacieux (les enfants avaient leur propre chambre attenante). La piscine est un peu vieillotte. Le personnel est discret, poli mais un peu trop détaché des besoins des clients."
