"We were warmly greeted, upgraded as they were not full, our room was modern, boutique, nice personal touches, we stayed on one of the hottest nights of the year and even with fans going the temperature didn’t go below 29’C in our room overnight! It was an oven! Nothing the management could’ve done more. The breakfast was absolutely spot on and we were allowed to leave our car until lunchtime in the car park which was so appreciated while we visited our daughter. Thank you so much, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, all the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. "

"A comfortable and convenient place to stay. Friendly and efficient staff. The air con in the room was very good in the hot weather! Shame the pool/spa were out of use. Everything else was fine- thanks for a great stay."

"We have stayed here twice now - and was more then pleased with everything on the first visit, on the second we had a room facing the car park and not the marina as last time, so that was a little bit disappointing. Also a gas pipe on the wall outside kept making noise thruout the night. "

"Fantastic little stay at this place. You can really see that they have put some thought into how they do things to make yiur stay enjoyable. The bed was comfortable with fresh and clean bedsheets, the bathroom was clean with clean towels. The continental breakfast thatnis left in the room is a great odea. Simply pick up what you want, take it down to the dining area/kitchen area and prepare. I really enjoy it and will be back. For anyone who is interested, i am a youtuber and will be leaving a clip of my room and my thoughts on the Hamilton in one of my videos. My chanel is called 'tobe explores' "

"Great hotel in a lovely location, close to the historic city centre but away from heavy traffic noise. Nice breakfast too and overall good value for money."

"An amazing hidden gem! A lovely setting, the pub was great with a huge beer garden and play area and the hotel was lovely and clean and VERY quiet - we didnt hear other people inside or out on any of the 3 nights we stayed. Beer garden was right outside our window and very busy with families and kids playing football but could not hear a peep in the room. Room also had air con but wasnt very good, and we used our Shark fan we had brought from home knowing it was a hot weather week. We ate in the pub for dinner on arrival and enjoyed their Curry night offer. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."
