"I had stayed here previously a few years ago and was surprised to find how run down this hotel was. The layout of reception etc… had changed now requiring going up and down lots of stairs. Our beds had seen better days. The paint was peeling off our bathroom door and the television unit. The shower was freezing and shot water all over the bathroom floor. Breakfast was welcome to the 70’s era. Stale cornflakes and tinned mandarins. My husband ordered Eggs Benedict off the made to order menu and the eggs were rock solid. Totally inedible. We won’t be returning. "

"I was using the Park just as a base so would not be fair to comment further on it as a holiday venue, that said there were lots of happy faces, everyone seemed occupied with events of an evening. Child and dog friendly with the former having their own entertainment programme. My mobile home was clean, well equipped for what I needed and I could park outside the accommodation. As I say it was a base and I went out every day, didn't use any of the facilities aside from the bar for a beer and snack and that was good quality and reasonably priced. Staff at reception were helpful and there is a shop on site that, given it has a closed market, seemed very reasonable and well stocked. I had a fun even though I am not sure I was there so to do!"

"Plenty of parking. Reception and bar staff good. Breakfast manager ‘Flick’ unwelcoming, dismissive, brusque, unhelpful and, worst of all, sarcastic. Poor quality food at breakfast. Room access keycard was faulty and twice I had to get reception to come up to let me in. No hot water in the morning, some problem with the boiler. Lift claustrophobic."
