Baymont by Wyndham Richmond I-70
10/10 Excellent
"Comfortable and clean. Best park was Richard the kitchen host. Very friendly. They had usual buffet things, scrambled eggs, sausage biscuits and gravy, waffles etc. But when you walk in he asks if you wanted an over easy fried egg. He’ll run off and cook you one. It was great. He’s 80 and after retirement at 55 he took a part time job with the hotel , and has been there 24 years. Loves his job and people. What an asset for this hotel!"

"Great location. Excellent facilities. Helpful staff. Great choice for a stay in Oxford. Only issue is no breakfast option but there are plenty of cafes etc nearby."

"The good: - Room was very clean, if in need of some updating - The bed was comfortable (something that doesn't happen often in Oxford!) - The area was quiet The bad: - The large security light in the back parking lot was pointed DIRECTLY at our window, and the drapes didn't entirely cover the window or meet in the middle -- I woke up at least a dozen times in the night thinking it was daytime. - The AC unit was very loud when it was operating (but it kept the room cool, so points for that) The meh: - The pool was closed, but we weren't planning to use it anyway - Staff were a mixed bag; some were very friendly and helpful, others less so - There was some kind of breakfast, but I didn't partake so can't comment on the quality, but my spouse was not impressed Bottom line, I would stay here again -- in a different room away from the light! -- if it were the lone available option, but I wouldn't be especially excited about it. It's serviceable, clean, and not scary."

"The exhaust fan in the bathroom needs to be cleaned. It had dust in it on the inside. That was the only yhing I had noriced. Other than that it was a great stay. I will book again."

Hannah's Creek Farm Cottage

"What a lovely tiny home. I enjoyed my stay in this peaceful, rustic sanctuary that made me feel a part of history and nature. Sharon herself was a delight. I have a knee injury and didn’t want to risk the loft ladder. Pullout couch was quite firm, though, so I might bring my own mattress topper next time I stay. Lots of cute shops and places to check out in Centerville."
