It was a bit difficult to find with the stairs to the 2nd floor being so far from the front desk, & then the room was far from the stairs. It wasn’t pleasant walking in & out of the hotel while people were smoking right by the entrance. Breakfast was good, with many options. The staff person was extra considerate & attentive, offering to cook guests’ eggs according to their preference. The room was a bit grimy --I didn't really want to touch the greasy light switches. Staff were courteous but with poor personal presentation (non-professional and grungy looking clothing, etc. --management should provide company shirts and slacks, informal is ok but should look clean and fresh from desk clerks to kitchen staff). That is a rocky good, it honestly could of been a 3 or 5\. Nice motel, good rates, and really great staff. Well all but the Manager, he seems to either have a problem with me, or maybe a medical condition effecting his smell. Yesterday he knocks and says are you smoking in your room? I'll charge you money for smoking in your room. We had not nor did we ever smoke in the motel period. Then last time we stayed he blamed us for having dogs in our room. Saying it stunk like dogs, we didn't have any kind of animal what so ever. Its like he's craving to charge extra on my debit card or something.
