Transylvania University is also nearby. Rupp Arena is under 3/4ths of a mile away. The apartment is comfortable and is equipped with a full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was great, good TV, and the location is walkable to downtown if you don't have a car. Everything else was mediocre. It's in the back of an old house in an old part of town in a mildly dirty neighborhood. Not necessarily an unsafe neighborhood but definitely felt a little sketchy arriving at night. We could hear the upstairs neighbor at all times of day and night. Everything in the house felt dingy (smudged and slightly dirty dishes, old towels, floors) because it's an old house. This was advertised as a smoke free property. It was so bad that I could not stay there and had to go to a hotel. When I reported this to the property manager, they basically called me a liar saying that there was 100% no smell of smoke in the unit. The cleanliness was also sub-par.
