Our neighborhood is located between the UK campus and Downtown Lexington. Most homes on the street are Victorian style mansions built in the late 1800s. We are one-half block from the Woodland Triangle retail hot spot and a block and a half from Woodland Park. Woodland Park offers a pool, tennis courts, a baseball field, picnic tables and a wonderful arborist walking tour of many tree species. Woodland Avenue's six blocks begin at E. Main Street and end inside the UK campus.

Lyft, Uber and Taxi services are available. Lyft and Uber rides (assuming no Surge/Primetime escalations) to downtown, Rupp Arena or Lexington Convention Center are about $5. To LEX Airport or Keeneland Race Course the cost is about $18. These are based on my last use of these services, prices vary as you know if you use them.
