"Fantastic Connemara getaway experience in modern, beautifully furnished cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and really did feel luxurious in terms of the furniture and all the amenities provided in the house as part of the stay. It really felt like you were staying in your good friend's country cottage and not just 'some rental'. Mike our host was extremely communicative and always at pains to ensure our stay was perfect. The location of the cottage is close to the end of Rosmuc peninsula, 'far from the madding crowds'. The scenery and view from the cottage is truly stunning and we never tired of the ever-changing view out the window of the sea, mountains, sky. It provided a great base from which to explore Connemara. Highly recommend."

"Our stay was idyllic, dreamy, and fully relaxing. First, Janet and Michael are exceptionally warm and gracious. They made us feel welcome and right at home and were attentive to our comfort. The property is absolutely charming with beautiful cottage garden spaces and a lovely view from the all windows. Riley, the sweet, gentle, herding dog, greeted us often with her smiling face. The cottage is in the most beautiful area, with stunning walks to the beach, past lovely herds of cows, sheep, and a few ponies and friendly neighborhood cats and dogs. A wonderful, fully-stocked market is just a 10-minute walk away. We were pleased to find many gluten free selections. The cottage itself was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Beds were very firm and comfortable, showers were great, and the kitchen was a delight to cook in. We sat outside mornings and evenings with coffee or meals and enjoyed the beautiful garden and fresh, clean air. It’s a short drive from the cottage to many exciting places to see. The Wild Atlantic Way is truly spectacular. We spent three weeks at this unforgettable place and were truly sad to leave. We hope we can return someday to stay here again or to try Janet and Michael’s gorgeous Connemara Glamping, if we bring our extended family along with us. We can’t thank our hosts enough for their warm hospitality. It was truly a relaxing and restorative trip. We offer our highest recommendation for this stay. "

"This was my favorite place to stay on our recent Ireland trip. The location in the middle of the Connemara was exactly what I was looking for. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed for a group of 6. We referenced the house guide many times for advice on the local area. It's the perfect home base for exploring the area. We went into Cong one day and did a falconry experience at Ashford Castle and went in to Galway another day. Wish we could have stayed longer. Eimear was incredibly responsive and helpful. Would love to book again next time!"

"Was situated just right to be able to travel around and visit all the must see sites in Connemara. Road was busy at certain times but didnt distract from the peaceful area. Would definitely need a car, but plenty of parking at the house and free parking available at all visitor sites."

"We took a 30th girls trip and the owners made our stay so memorable. They were so nice and were more than happy to talk to us! The property is a 6 minute walk from the beach, where we saw a seal, and along the way, we saw donkeys and cows too. We loved everything about our stay and we were sad to leave. Book now! "
