I have a service dog Before arriving and when we arrived showed my service dog paperwork and ID. However we were asked to leave the breakfast area. Informed staff service dog allowed and needed to be any place I was. Was told they understand service dogs and I could go have breakfast if I left my service dog in the room!!! They said would check with the manager and get back to me. I made several inquiries but never heard from the manager. Very disappointing and distressing experience. Clearly much education needed to address this human rights violation

On the first day of your stay, it appears that there was no issue with your service dog joining you in the breakfast area, and our front desk staff did not ask you to leave. We were aware of your service dog's presence and understood the situation. However, on the second day, our front desk staff attempted to reach out to inform you that our policy allows service dogs in public areas. Unfortunately, it seems that the call may not have been received, and there was a misunderstanding about your service dog's access to the breakfast area. Please accept our sincere apologies for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused. We are reviewing our procedures to ensure better communication and consistency in enforcing our policies regarding service animals. The temperature in the room was so warm even with heat off . It is March in Canada so we had to have door open at times The checking staff were wonderful Won’t stay at this facility if travelling thru again due to temp of room

Carpet needs replacement as the room has a foul smell. Bathroom is extremely small. Breakfast consists of toast waffle bagel cereal. Coffee was not drinkable. Out of 5 night stay I had to get a new key card every second day. Will not return to this location.

As I was checking in I paid the room rate and deposit….that was over $500 I paid for 3 rooms. Just as that was all paid the lady got on the phone and said she had to confirm our stay because we were from Stand-off😡 what does that have to do with our stay, we paid everything in full so idk what the problem was. I was so appalled by what she had said because all of us are from STANDOFF!! I asked her was it relevant to make that call she said she had too then went on saying it was due to COVID….was she insinuating we all had Covid, if we did I don’t think we would all be out and about. I talked to my family about this and they were all very upset about what she had said. I will be out there telling my fellow Nation members from STANDOFF to boycott this place. I should’ve went with my instinct and went else where. Never again will we give this place our business. Oh and might I say to super 8 in Lethbridge AB “YOUR ON NATIVE LAND”
