Hotel Islas Galapagos

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It is a lovely, family-owned place run by a couple who were incredibly welcoming and kind from the moment we arrived. The room had everything we needed, including air conditioning, a TV, hot water, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. We also really appreciated having access to free filtered water, as well as tea and coffee. The location was very convenient, with several restaurants, laundry services, and other amenities within walking distance. One thing that really stood out was how accommodating the owners were. We had a later flight on our departure day, and the owner kindly allowed us to check out later, which was incredibly helpful. After checking out, we were also able to stay in the entrance area while waiting for our flight, which made the whole experience much easier and more comfortable. Overall, we’re very happy with our stay. This hotel has a warm, welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!"

"The room was clean and I felt safe during my stay there. The owner, Harry, was super helpful in organizing taxi’s for me when needed. I had an early morning tour and he even packed me a bagged breakfast since I was leaving prior to the time breakfast is typically served. He also took care of my taxi to the airport. Private bathrooms and air conditioning worked great. There are cats on property, but as a cat lover, I enjoyed this as they were all friendly. The was delicious freshly cooked breakfast. The only downside is that it’s a bit outdated and the pool/hot tub was not usable. Also a little further from town but it’s still just a 10-15 minute walk to the pier or a $2 taxi ride, so not terrible."

"Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. Room was very clean, staff was very helpful. Location is ideal in the center of town and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, the pier AND the airport! You can technically walk to the airport. Perfect stay and location."

Hotel y Restaurante Miconia

"The property is very nice. Our room was #11. It was an inexpensive option, but the toilet leaked from the bathroom into the main room. Only one nightstand was provided. The window near the air conditioner had a cardboard cover and the cold water faucet did not have water. We advised the staff the next morning. The cardboard was removed, we were told that there is only one water faucet and the leak was not addressed or if they attempted to fix it, it didn’t work. It’s a nice property but what was disappointing was the un-attentive staff. They either had no authority or could care less."

"Hotel was beautiful and in the best location! The pier for tour pickup is right out front and everything is within walking distance. Max greeted us at check-in and was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The breakfast was great and filling, with an amazing rooftop view. The only negatives were: we had confirmed hotel pick-up, however no one was there when we arrived. I think just a miscommunication using the chat feature. The water pressure in the shower was low with no hot water, which was no biggie for us, but maybe a deal breaker for others. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"
