"Picked this rental due to the boat slip. The rental was so cute, very clean and had everything needed. The check in process was so easy. The outside patio and deck made this location the best. A downside was the boat dock/slip ramp was underwater neck deep, so the family that visited during the stay had to be picked up at the marina with the coolers. The communication with the openers was very quick and so nice. Will be booking here again if available."

We will definitely keep this home in mind for future trips! "Checked in at 9:30pm with a very nice, polite reception clerk. Went to room and discovered the inn as being completely run down. Though an obvious effort had been made to clean, there was a musty smell, loud rambling ac unit and we could hear everything from the family in the adjacent room. Bathroom was in poor shape. The bed was uncomfortable and we were unable to sleep. My wife was so distraught and disgusted we checked out 3hrs later and forfeited the stay. Got back on the road and kept driving stopping to sleep a couple hours in our vehicle. Despite a very nice gentleman at the desk, this hotel is a tear down or in need of a complete overhaul. "

"The room was fine. Nothing fancy but we weren’t looking for anything fancy. The floor had obvious water damage but that doesn’t matter and you could hear the bed springs. The worst part was the other guests that came in late with two cars. Obviously they had been drinking as they were talking loudly and banging their car doors and locking and unlocking the car doors making the horn honk again and again. Their headlights faced right in to our window that faced the parking lot so every time they locked and unlocked their doors the lights would flash and the horn would honk. "

"Nice house on a quiet piece of land, but the host forgot to mention that there is no river in March. I knew the Army Corps drains some lakes and rivers in Kentucky, so I specifically asked the host about the river level since my 13-year-old son loves to fish. Unfortunately, she didn’t tell me the truth.When we arrived, we found only a dried-up creek, which was a big disappointment for my son and for us. We could have rented a house for a better price and much closer to the national park, but we feel we were misled by the host.We won’t be coming back, even though the property itself is nice."
