« This cabin was definitely quiet and away from everything. Exactly what i wanted. Enjoyed deck and the cozy living room. Also enjoyed walking the road as no one else is around. Communication was excellent all the way through the trip. Only thing i wasn't aware of was the low ceiling in the bedroom. But you are only sleeping there anyway. This time of year I had Cumberland Gap National Park all to myself. So peaceful! »

« Lovely mountain house! Beautiful view, everything was clean and well stocked. Hot tub was perfect! 20-minute drive to town so be sure to get all groceries before heading to cabin. No cell service on the way either, so screenshot your directions. Perfect getaway for families or small groups. Great fit for our group of 3 single adults and one couple. »

« All 11 of us enjoyed roasting marshmallows and watching fireflies at this beautiful cabin that is part of the Harlan County Campgrounds. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless. Some of our group enjoyed using the hot tub as well. Some info to help future travelers: There are two bathrooms in the cabin, but they are both downstairs next to each other, so if you need to use it in the middle of the night you do have to navigate stairs. This cabin is near an off-roading trailhead...

« The retreat it self was just as described. It was very well stocked. The firepit was nice and the view was pretty. I would have given it 5 stars but for the price….here is some very important thing to know before you stay there….even though it is lake accessible, you should know that the owner fails to let you know that the hill down to the boat dock that he advertises is sooo steep that you can barely get down or up the hill. « Exceptional lake house that has everything you need to relax and enjoy Norris Lake. Located in Lone Mountain area that is very peaceful. Main deck had amazing view of lake. Plenty of water blowups, life jackets, kayaks and hot tub. Kitchen has great coffee bar, wine refrigerator, and an huge kitchen island for everyone to gather around. Traegor grill was great for cooking burgers, steak and salmon. Owner was very responsive to get hot tub fixed during our stay. »
