« Good location within minutes of lakes, walking paths, mall and grocery stores. 3-story house with 2 bedrooms upstairs plus bath, and a bedroom on the lower level plus bath. Good for privacy when multiple adults visiting. Kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes and bowls making it easy to cook meals. Note that visitors need to be able to readily climb stairs so house is not great for elderly visitors. Recommend this house! »

« We didn’t stay. We when arrived, instead of a room in the guest house, we were expected to stay in a tentlike structure. In addition, the bathroom facilities were outdoor showers and commodes that required a climb up a set of stairs. Luckily we were able to secure a room at another facility. The owner supposedly requested a refund for me but I haven’t heard whether this has been approved. »

« The house is very nice and large and spacious. Great for a big group. Location is right off the beltway which is super convenient. The experience would have been excellent if it weren’t for this very strong bad odor that was so unpleasant that I almost left after the first night. It was the worst in the basement. Upon leaving my son in law discovered the smell emanating from the downstairs washer which was filled with putrid water. Don’t know what that was all about but it was unbelievably...

« We drove up to the house, noticing a couple of torn window screens and some rain-soaked paper hanging off the mailbox. We had to ring the doorbell a couple of times before we heard a voice from the intercom. They had difficulty hearing us, asked whether we were staying that day or the next (it was supposed to be both), and then replied, "Oh. Wait a minute." Many minutes passed and no one came to the door. We can only imagine that we caught the host off guard. We double-checked our rental dates....

« My wife and I stayed here for our weekend in DC. The place was about 20 minutes from the National Mall depending on traffic and stop lights. It's not the nicest part of DC but it's not terrible. Check in was pretty smooth except we didn't have a keypad code on the app so we had to message the host, but he responded quickly and we were able to get in the house easily. The place was just as expected. It was clean and a good place to stay for the price. The only thing we found odd was the bathroom...

« First, Christina and Emilio are excellent hosts. So nice! And there are lots of little touches that make staying nicer. Such as bandaids in the bathroom when I cut my arm and k-cups for morning coffee. Great communication and very friendly. The neighborhood is great and I felt completely safe. We had a friend come pick us up for dinner and he was so impressed with the neighborhood we chose, having lived in DC for a bit and knowing the area.
