FALL SPECIAL - The water is low, but the cabin is still peaceful & beautiful!

Even though the water is low, you will still be able to allow the stress to roll off your back as you step inside the five-bedroom log cabin nestled in a wooded peaceful cove. You'll be greeted by the warm embrace of the upstairs living area. Indulge in the convenience of a fully furnished kitchen, complete with all the necessary appliances to craft delectable meals. Enjoy your culinary creations at the quaint dining table, surrounded by the comforts of home. When it's time to unwind, sink into the plush seating in the living room and lose yourself in the latest shows on the smart TV OR venture outside and relax in the swing on the back porch.

Just down the covered and enclosed exterior stairs from the back deck (no interior stair access) you will find an additional living space and two of the five bedrooms in the newly finished basement. This is a perfect modern environment to challenge your companions to a lively game or a peaceful jigsaw puzzle. The kitchenette will provide amenities for making snacks with access to a refrigerator and a microwave, in addition to the coffee station.

A fire ring area off the back lower level screened porch is great for making smores or just sharing fireside conversation. We have a supply of bag chairs for your convenience.

Our dock no longer has access to the water with the current drought conditions. If you still want to enjoy the water but do not have a boat yourself, we suggest that you rent a boat from Harbor Light Marina which is about a 15 minute drive from the cabin. Our horseshoe shaped driveway easily accommodates a boat trailer if you want to pull your boat and put in/out at one of the local boat ramps. Kayaks can still be walked out through the dry land leading to the cove if desired. Unfortunately, there won’t be much swimming access at this time.

The swing on the front porch provides an opportunity to hear the cows in the pasture across the street. Sometimes, simply walking to the top of the driveway can provide you an opportunity to enjoy a close up look. The cows are as curious about passersby as we are about them, so enjoy a rare moment!

A short drive will lead you to either Lake Hartwell State Park or Tugaloo State Park. Downtown Lavonia provides charming dining and shopping experiences, as well as a brewery. The Lake Hartwell Wildlife Safari Park is a very entertaining experience where you can feed animals from your vehicle. We STRONGLY encourage you to rent one of their vehicles, as the animals are quite messy!

With amenities like Wi-Fi, a washing machine and dryer (both upstairs and downstairs), and a travel crib, this cabin offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, ensuring an unforgettable vacation experience.

There is ample parking for multiple vehicles. Access to the home is given via a unique digital code that expires on your last day, and there are two outdoor cameras to ensure the area is secure.
