There was VERY poor heat in the room. It took forever to warm up. Staff offered a room with king bed instead of 2 twins that had a special key that only the staff had so you would have to have a staff member open your door every time you left the room. New management came in next morning knowing nothing of our problems. Told us we could pay for an additional room on top of the freezing one we already had. This was the worst customer service ever. Manager told us this is what the owners would do as well. Will NEVER go back

We like the fact that there was a breakfast bar in the morning. The rate was excellent. But the room needed vacuuming ,and a good dusting. Over all new carpet would be best, gum embedded .

Nice staff. Property aging but our room seemed well kept. Have used this hotel in the past. We lived in Hartwell and would come here to get a room so we could play in the pool all day.

Stay away this hotel has a good owner but he has a bunch of addicts running it the front desk clerk charged me 3 times for room when I called expedia to fix problem owner showed up called me a liar an told me no it didnt happen lucky I have moblie banking an had proof he still wanted to fight with me about it so I told him I would call cops to fix it an then he changed his story an refunded me my money but the cops rode thru parking lot several times the staff in lobby talked about employees who were doing drugs an this place is next to a days inn that is also owned by same man my opinion stay away if you have to stay pay cash I wont be back an do no recommend this place

Worse hotel I have ever been to. Dirty, gave us a room someone else was staying in. Got another room beds had been slept in, stained sheets with visible body hair on pillows and sheets. Poor management ☹️ was busy sitting under stairwell hanging out with what seemed to be people who were living at the hotel. Unsafe environment. Demanded refund! Left immediately police were pulling in as we left! Never again will we be there. Highly discourage anyone to ever stay there. Pool was nasty green with stuff floating in it.

Beware: Bedbugs
Not to mention that the hotel was among the dirtiest places that I have stayed,(i.e., the air conditioner was full of dust, a broken fridge, broken microwave and broken lightstands were left in the room for no reason) it was bed bugs in the room which shocked me so much. At first I wasn't sure that the bugs I found were bed bugs, because they were small. But when I flipped open the bedclothes after I already killed 3 bed bugs, I found a huge bed bug which was as big as my fingernail. That's when I decided to leave the hotel. It was around midnight, but I talked to the property manager, left the hotel, and went to a decent hotel nearby. When I was leaving, the property manager promised me a refund and I thought that was a relief. But the hotel changed its mind and now is refusing to give me the refund, saying they are "sticking to their policy". I really don't think it is a good policy not to give any compensation to a customer who suffered from its poorly-maintained property.

I was in the area and this was the only motel. The staff was friendly. The room had glass on the floor in the bathroom. The shower was in need of repair. The sheets had stains on them. I needed a bed and shower. I will not stay here again.

Don’t do it! I know you are tired, I know that this is cheap but you get what you pay for. Dirty, smelly, poorly maintained. There are better options within 20 minutes. Check them out.

The lady at the desk was wonderful. The outside of the building was nicely renovated with some nice landscaping. My room was filthy. I woke up to a bug on my pillow. The carpet was in horrible condition and it desperately needed to be vacuumed. The breakfast was disappointing in a business class hotel. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing, and I had to pay for a room in another town for one of my employees because her room was even worse than mine.

Good for the price, place to sleep for the night.
Room was very recently cleaned, still smelled of bleach. So we knew it was clean. Most of the rooms were under construction/renovation and it looked like the place might be pretty nice once completed. After several hours the smell of bleach faded and the smell of cigarettes took over. It wasn't overbearing and was somewhat expected for the price. The was no smoke detector in the room (had been removed for some reason) and the AC would not get very cold. Overall was very acceptable for the price but overall would not be my first choice. If trying to save money this place is better than most in its price range. Free breakfast that was provided was not the best but the fact that there was food at all was a huge plus. A few small improvements and this place could be really nice and since they do seem to be working on the rooms/building it's likely headed in that direction.

It was defiantly an older hotel. the owner or manager was doing construction trying to update it. Very well lit at night but we over the awning and it rained all night and the rain was loud hitting it coming from the roof. Bedding was very wrinkly and qustionable, beds also old and uncomfortable.

Terrible stay.
At first glance the room seemed great. But once we settled in we saw all the problems. The cartpets weren’t cleaned and had piles of dust in the corners. The carpeting that was on the divider between the bed and the sitting areas was peaking off. The sheets and pillow cases were dirty. The shower had horrible water pressure, the curtains were torn so you couldn’t fully closed them with out one side showing. The room looked nothing like what they advertised it to be online.

It was fine The staff there were extremely pleasant and helpful, like they were extraordinarily friendly and kind. I appreciated it. The room was fine, the air conditioner was a tad wonky and the breakfast left much to be desired. But it is also lavonia so I was not displeased in the slightest

I found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable. Internet worked fine. The TV was old, but had a very good picture with lots of channels. I was pleasantly surprised after a shower to find towels that were soft and of high quality instead of the usual sand paper towels one frequently finds. The only two challenges were a lack of water pressure in the shower and the heat/AC controls were a little beat up. I'd have no hesitation to stay here again.

You get what you pay for with this hotel. It desperately needs to be remodeled and updated. The rooms smell and will leave your clothes smelling funny once you get home. Our room was clean enough but I was definitely weary of the bedding. It got the job done for a place to sleep and that’s about it.

I booked a King non smoking room. When I checked in on August 18th approx 2:40PM, I was told they didn't have a King non smoking avail. I said a King smoking would be ok. I still did not get a King. I got 2 double beds. There was no one and I mean NO ONE esle at the hotel but us until Sunday evening. I'm quite sure there was a King avail and they didn't want to accommodate my reservation. Also, there was furniture all in the breezeway area. Trashy work men there who tried to lure me into a room. Disgusting. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone nor will I ever stay there again. I was there to visit my ill mother in law and all other hotels were booked. This hotel was not booked at all until Sunday night, although, their website stated it was. I should have been given the room I originally booked. I think it was because I went through a reservation company and they didn't want to give a King room because it is more expensive.

Please be assured, we try our best to accommodate every guest with what they need to have a comfortable stay with us and all of our rooms are the same price.. Just considering that you checked in a little early as our check in time is usually after 3pm, may have been why they were not available. Please excuse our mess that weekend as we were getting all our rooms ready for the awesome eclipse. And please let the front office or the Police know should anyone ever attempt to lure you anywhere in the future!! We make our guests safety top priority always!! Thank you for your feedback!! Very Cold
We had no heat in our room. No hot water either. Rm #117 Wasn't a very pleasant experience. We were very cold and it was 36° outside but felt 4° because of the harsh wind. I don't think we'll ever stay here again.
