"We are 3 sisters (and husbands) who try to book to take our children and their children away on a family break every year. We love family get togethers. We booked both properties at Unsliven and both were absolutely outstanding. Can’t think of a single thing they didn’t have. Spotlessly clean and spacious. We thought the photos were great but the properties were even better than they looked. Booked a different property with Yorkshire Premium Cottages last year as there was less of us and that was brilliant too- hence booking with them again. Honestly this property was just the best. Thank you"

"Great communication from owners. Warm and friendly welcome upon arrival. Room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, bathroom spacious, fantastic shower. "From booking through to leaving - everything was a pleasure. The open plan ground floor provided space for everyone to be in one place at one time, whilst still enjoying the facilities together. The hot tub was a great way to relax. My only advice is use the cottage name in your sat nav, not the postcode (3 out of 4 cars did this and were guided directly to the cottage, we on the other hand ended up on the wrong side of Leapings Lane - only a few minutes drive back, kindly directed by Lisa who was waiting to greet us, but invaluable to know for new visitors). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Superb property for family get together, spotlessly clean, luxury accommodation and great layout with everything you need. We loved the fact that all the bedrooms are similar sizes with an en suite each and no one had to choose the best room. Super responsive owners went out of their way to help"

"We loved the cottage. Owner decorated it out for Christmas which made it very special. The cottage itself was more than we expected. All rooms were roomy and well set out. Owner meet us on arrival and showed us round which was much appreciated. Very quiet location and perfect for some walks out and about. We would recommend and would most likely book again."

"Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet."

"We booked this house for a family gathering. We were a group of 10 including an elderly relative and a 14 month old. The house was easy to find using the directions provided. We were met and welcomed when we arrived. There was plenty of easy parking at the front of the property. We parked 6 cars with ease and didn't need to do any juggling around when people needed to go out. There is a large sociable kitchen that extends into an area with large sofas with a TV. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering and there is a large fridge freezer. There are 2 further large living rooms with plenty of seating which we didn't actually need to use apart from 2 of our party using one room for quiet study. The stairs have very good fitted wooden gates that can be used for child safety or the restriction of dogs. All bedrooms were large, well presented, had very comfortable mattresses, pillows and good quality bedding. There were good quality towels. There are 2 bathrooms with shower and a large bath in the bathroom on the top floor. Whilst facing onto a main road, we were not conscious of road noise. The garden is dog proof, neat and would be lovely for a BBQ in good weather. The hot tub is a great bonus and we enjoyed using it. It was maintained daily during our stay. We have previously used hot tubs that smell strongly of chemicals, this was not the case here. The 'games room' was rudimentary and we didn't use it."
